Totally Worth a Look

With an evocative title, and it's own ready-made theatre audience willing to suspend disbelief, the charm and fantastical zest of this film are thoroughly engaging.

A Quirky Tale...

This hyper stylized macabre black comedy is a joy from beginning to end. A story-within-a-story, it is beautifully shot with endearing performances. Both original and memorable it defies categorization. An impressive film.

Absolute gem with a comedic storyline supported by a creative and imaginative set. I really enjoyed this film and its alternative format of story telling. The intricate details of the cardboard cuts are brilliant, as well as the creative an informative costume designs.

This Gem of a film fell down from the Sky

An excellent production showcasing some of Australia's brightest stars.

At times dark but with some unexpected moments of humour, we are led on a journey where fun and horror merge together. Beautifully shot, with well choregraphed moments, we are told a tale that will keep us on the edge of our seats.

This is a thoroughly intriguing and entertaining short film. No wonder it's been winning so many awards!

High Praise

This incredibly innovative film is a class act that astounds on all levels.

A cautionary tale that blurs the line between reality and theatre, dark and light, poetry and pulp, past and present... it is wittily co-written and stylishly directed by Ren Thackham - a pleasure to watch. The cardboard props alone deserve honourable mention!

Faultless performances from every actor. Sheree Zellner excels. Even the audience gets to act!

So good to see a daring concept that avoids the formulaic so masterfully realised.

This dark, twisted yet very funny and brilliant comedy brought me a lot of intrigue and laughter for being only 8 minutes long. Well worth the watch! Loved it!
