Switching it up

This episode is interesting in that it's not the Time Team going back in time, but having to track down someone they brought back from the past. The added stress of Wyatt's undead wife living in the bunker is apparent and we see why Lucy Preston is one of the best female characters ever written. She's selfless, she's kind and she's not afraid to defend the people she loves. Even though she's in an unintended love triangle she is all grace and deference.

WOW Details!

Warning: Spoilers
I love the details in this episode. JFK's reactions to the present are fun but his acquired knowledge of his future was heartbreaking. I wish we could have witnessed what was happening to Flynn in 1934. All the comments about the Gramercy Park phone number being wrong are hilarious. It is RIGHT. Phone numbers didn't go to the 7-digit standard until the 1950s.

Wow JFK
Kingslaay20 April 2018
Timeless made a unique and great episode this week involving the iconic JFK.

Emotions and tensions are also at play here among the team especially with Lucy and Wyatt. As a JFK and Kennedy enthusiast who's enjoyed reading and watching about the family they got their facts right.

What was unique was the majority of the episode was set in the present which is a first for this show. Most episodes have been throughout history while a lot of it was set in the present. It was also rare to have someone from the past return, none other than JFK himself. Great episode however I personally do prefer seeing them travel in the past.

A jackpot of sorts, good stuff.

Warning: Spoilers
The second season has had a consistently better quality than the first, with a different beat. Each character's personally involved and there aren't any sit-downs between sides anymore, there's a great deal of unpredictability that wasn't present before. This episode being the pinnacle thus far.

In a show about traveling back in the past, it turns on its head and shows the present through the eyes of those from the past, with some educational value also.

Powerhouse Episode

Warning: Spoilers
Something different: they bring someone back from the 1934. In addition to the usual quaint encounters with technology of the future the person is amazed that three teenagers are from the same school. I couldn't understand the surprise which shows how far we have come. The teens were of different racial groups; back in the 30's (the 60's for that matter) they would not even be friends much less attend the same school.

Disbelief of being projected into the future leads to a conundrum of how to deal with the knowledge of how things will turn out when returned to his own time.

The issue of Lucy losing her love and struggling with her mother's involvement creates more tension and aggrevation.

Less timetravel, but a good episode

Warning: Spoilers
I thought the first season was good - not great, but good Entertainment. The second season is weaker, but still worth watching. In the second season, this episode is one of the better, although it actually has little to do with time travel: the young JFK has to be brought into the present, but can escape. The team is looking for him while JFK meets today's world. It's funny and exciting at the same time. In addition, it is a change from the other episodes, which are mostly very similar and therefore sometimes become a bit boring. The illogical plot holes are still annoying anyway. Flynn's appearance at the end is short but great. A good figure!

well,, better ... i gotta say it ,, it is getting really better.

So i am one of the harshest critics of the show and even the whole renewal thing didn't go well down my throat ,, but it is actually getting better ,,

With Wayatt's wife back "i like her, hope they stay together for ever",, and with Flynn on the team ,, also i like him , he has that witty British sense of humor the show is now having more structure and solid clear genre.

I feel a bit proud that i had that bit of hope last year when season 1 ended , which kept me watching the show ,,, so keep it up ,, but again ,, we need to see more of Flynn.
