Throwing out most of the original cast members, Girlfriends Films foolishly revamped this series with disastrous results. Though this nearly 4-hour volume clearly sets up for subsequent developments in the new story arc, no subsequent release has occurred in the four years since this one came out.
It opens with a four-minute recap montage of action from Part 6, archive footage of departed characters like the series' main star Zoey Holloway, plus Elle Alexandra, Anikka Albrite, Veronica Snow and Ariella Ferrera.
New story pits long-time villain Angela Sommers vs. new to the fold Lena Nicole. The family's patriarch Claudio (veteran actor-director Claudio Bergamin, uncredited) returns to the show after a long stay in Milan, absent on screen since the debut DVD. He's about to divorce Zoey and has Lena in tow as his fiancee, planning to marry her in a couple of weeks.
Sommers plays his niece, and the two lead blondes vy for his attention. It's not sexual (recall this is a Lesbian Cinema series) but strictly to get the old coot's money.
Unfortunately for the show and its fans, Lena is not seductive and appealing like conniving Angela, so the central conflict never comes alive -perhaps she'll be dropped from the show if it ever gets a Part 8. Claudio is called away to settle labor troubles back in Milan, and the lamest of story devices has vignettes built around renting the guest house to pretty young ladies.
First pair of renters Tara Morgan and Xandra Sixx end up being humped by Lena and Angela respectively, and a second pair is clumsily introduced in the form of Allie Eve Knox and an unidentified diminutive cheerleader, in uniform played by Jenna Sativa (uncredited).
She has no sex scene so is uncredited, yet makes a far stronger impression in the dialog set-up than Knox. Knox, however, is selected for Sapphic sex by Angela's friend Mercedes Carrera.
The dialog set-up footage here was repeated in next month's release "Cheer Squad Sleepovers 15", with Lena humping Jenna in that feature but not here.
Show ends with Angela humping the great Girlfriends trouper Mindi Minx for an anticlimactic finish.
