Overall I am thoroughly enjoying Next of kin, but I would have to say it is a bit patchy, up and down. Part 3 was superb, gripping and intense, this episode was a little padded out, still gritty, but the issue I had with it is that it truly pushes the boundaries of belief, you need to suspend reality to watch on, Danny's moment in the truck was absolutely absurd, I found it totally unrealistic, it would never have happened. Gripes aside the story was very gripping. I did enjoy it, 6/10

Mona has been shown to be inept finding out that sending money by bank transfer is traceable. It also causes a rift with her husband Guy who so far tries to remain stoic and gloss over any troubles by schmoozing with oily politicians to try to keep his career on track
However with the police operation to catch Danny in Pakistan a failure, Mona finds it is better to help the police to catch Danny. However Danny wants to get out as the terrorists he is with are planning their next campaign. The police realise that Danny is an important asset if he remains with the terrorists.
I think the biggest problem I have with Next of Kin is that I never for a moment believe them as a functioning or realistic family.
