Anyone ever tried to get into those PC titles where the whole purpose is to find items in cluttered environments? Find 8 items in a single picture where there are 100 for example.
I think they have their place in the gaming industry, ideal for casual gamers who don't want anything too strenuous. Perfect additions to the modern culture of "Mature gamer" games along with the likes of brain training.
This is essentially that with RPG elements where you traverse an environment solving puzzles, following a story and doing the "Finding stuff" mini-games within.
The story revolves around an abandoned town and a mysterious cult but never really seems to get going. With such a slow paced game you need a storyline that really grips and though not terrible this simply doesn't do that.
Perfectly playable and spawned a sequel but ideal only for a certain type of gamer and will not generally appeal to the masses.
