Bob Fosse talks about how he got started in show business as well as his stage and film work in this candid and engaging interview. Among the topics discussed are Fosse beginning as a dancer in seedy vaudeville clubs at age fourteen, going to a dance school that was run by an old vaudeville couple at age nine, how working in clubs at night and attending school by day gave him a lot of experience in taking care of himself, that he was genuinely scared when he got his first big gig as a choreographer on "The Pajama Game," Fosse admitting that he thought his debut movie "Sweet Charity" was too stagy and hence was determined to prove himself as a director with his second film "Cabaret," and Fosse revealing that his dancing style stems from his handicaps. Moreover, we also see several clips from "All That Jazz," which is discussed at some length. Worth a watch for Fosse fans.
