This is the first time I've watched Birds of a Feather, and been aware of such a strong social, almost political message throughout, they addressed debt, homelessness, poverty, and seemed at times that they were digging at the current establishment, a fair reflection of the state of things in 2017.
It wasn't vintage humour, but it is just so wonderful to still have them on our screens, so I'll take it. I think it got funnier as it went on, and when the trio were stuck in the crypt it became very funny, some great one liners and physical humour.
It's a pity it wasn't scheduled a little closer to Christmas, this would have been a nice show for Christmas Eve. Next Series Please. 7/10
