Not a bad format for a game, but where did they get the contestants???

Presumably they regard themselves as pretty good at general knowledge, but in one round they were asked to name the last ten British monarchs, and one player guessed Elizabeth the Third!

In another game they had to name the ten US states which have a land border with Canada. First three answers: Alaska (correct), New Orleans and Seattle!

If you like to laugh at pig ignorance then this is the show for you!

It's a decent enough game show, the format is ok at best, but the real magic comes from Warwick Davies.

It's almost as ridiculous a show as Tipping Point, as nobody ever seems to win anything. You will chuckle at some of the answers given, but as always with these things, it's easy to know the answers if you're sat at home, it's very different in the stressful situation of a television studio.

I am amazed it's gone on as long as it has, but that's all due to Warwick, his wit, charm and personality, and his endless run of dad jokes. I am a big fan of Sally Lindsay as an actress, but when she presented it, the show's shortcomings were shown, it works because of him.

It's still better than many shows on, but that doesn't say a great deal.

I have watched every single episode and thoroughly enjoy this show. Warrick Davis is a brilliant host, who adds the right level of humour to the show. Playing along at home is fun too, especially when a category comes up that you know. Overall, a great show that doesn't get enough recognition.

The app game is really good too, so would recommend that.

I generally enjoy the show but the obscure voice for final categories is unfair. Today it is World Cup Football or Jane Austen! Tough if you are not a fan of either. A previous show turned out to be first words in a song - hard luck if you have never heard of it. Contestants try hard to build up their pot - give them at least a fighting chance of taking it home.

This is a frustrating watch. I fast forward because the suspense of the game board lighting up is not killing me. Contestants are quite thick, getting the money at the end is the only part I like and I f.forward that too. Sorry Warwick.

I love Tenable! I always feel gameshows like The Chase and Tipping Point, it can be worked so the contestants go home with nothing where as with Tenable it's straight forward...if you know the answers to the top ten then great you are within a chance of getting the money, you don't then tough! I also enjoy it because me and my other half love getting one over each other and a competition to see who can get the answers right. There are some people on there you just want to shake....i end up shouting the answers at the TV, where they find some of these people I will never know. Warwick Davis is a brilliant host, he has a brilliant rapport with the contestants and as someone says above he makes the show about them not himself! Overall a great show with a brilliant host

This is a deceptively difficult quiz. If it happens to be on I don't turn over and enjoy trying to get some of the answers.

Each question has a list of 10 correct answers. The difficulty of the questions vary hugely.

Out of a team of 5 only the captain is guaranteed a place in the final round. To get to the final round each team member must supply at least 5 correct answers in an individual round. The host sets the question and the captain chooses who in the team is best to answer, but only one round each. Each person can give one wrong answer but another wrong answer will see them eliminated. The team captain has a couple of chances to overrule an answer they think is wrong, plus a couple of opportunities for the team members to nominate a teammate to supply an answer should they need some inspiration. The more correct answers the more money in the prize fund, a total of £125,000 is possible. The team captain is guaranteed a place in the final round, they still need to get 5 answers to start adding to the prize fund. Instead of adding to the price fund the captain can choose to bring back someone who has been eliminated to join them in the final round.

The final round is next to impossible. One (usually very complicated) question is posed, again a list of 10 answers. This time, starting with the team captain, each player takes it in turn to give an answer. Give a wrong answer and that person is eliminated. Only all 10 correct answers will win the money - there are only 10 answers. I have seen many episodes and only recall one team winning the final round.

I'm now off to research how many winners there have actually been.....

Why is it clearly evident (other than Warwick wearing glasses) his mannerism is very different, it's like he's been told to read off the autocue and at the same time acts like it's the final series. I'm perplexed!

Me and my partner have watched every episode and it's by far our favourite quiz show on TV at the moment, it deserves a better time slot. Warwick Davis makes the show and I love the banter he has with contestants. Sure you get some dumb contestants but it's the same on every quiz show. Plus it's a great feeling when you get all 10.

TV viewer for well over 50 years and I am confident that this is the worst show I've ever seen. It's dull, boring and completely lacking in any excitement or mystery. Truly awful.

This is my favourite quiz show on telly! It's not as hard as others, but still quite challenging if you only know a little bit about a particular subject. Therefore, winning the prize money is a possibility! It's also fair and relatively straight forward in terms of its format/rules - unlike other shows where contestants are put through show much only to walk away with nothing :( it's also possible to easily learn general knowledge information from this show.

I love watching Tenable when I'm working from home! Addictive brain food!

One of the many game shows that litter ITV's daytime schedules, it's actually one of the better ones, mainly because it's difficult to win big money, which makes a nice change.

Warwick Davis is an odd choice of host, but a good one, who actually lets the contestants be the stars, rather than it all be about him.

I enjoy this show.

I love this show. Warwick is absolutely hilarious.

Shocking, childish and decidedly uninteresting. Exemplifies the depths that ITV have sunk to. It's shockingly informative and not even fun.

I love this show and look forward to watching it while having my afternoon coffee.

It's great that there is a good mix of questions and I always play along unfortunately I dont have someone to help me :-) I find myself shouting at the screen quite often.

Theres only one thing that spoils it for me, and it's nothing the show can do about it, that's when the contestants are giving their answers which run in alphabetical order and they say something that's obviously very wrong.

Warwick is great as quiz master as is Sally Lindsay when she stands in for him.

I really miss it when it's not on.

This is quite possibly the worst tv show I have ever seen in my life. The subjects are irrelevant, the host is not credible and the jokes are dire. The colour scheme (purple and green) are vile. And the name of the show; the word tenable is not even relevant to the show apart from the fact that the word tenable has 'ten' in it. All in all, would not recommend this show and need some new entertainment.

My hubby and I love watching this as it's great for brain training, however it would be even better if there was a split screen showing the board whilst the camera is on the contestant

Possibly the hardest and most obscure quiz ever ...unless you have the memory of a a computer how in hell are you supposed to know the answers ,the topics are ridiculous..today for example top ten Rihanna songs???? Wtf !! Ten London stations begining with the letter L , then when she answered Lewisham it seems DLR stations don't count...waste of time

Where has Warwick Davis gone? He made it worth watch, show has great premise but drags a little waiting to see the answer is 'up' there. Warwick made it palatable. This new woman is terrible.

I think it needs a new host. Silly topics, bad jokes.

Well, what can I say? Tenable has to be one of my absolute personal favourite TV game shows at the moment. I really enjoy the format (even though some of the top 10s could admittedly be a bit tricky or fiendishly difficult at times) and you just cannot help but have a really fun time whilst you're watching it.

Whilst being a bit of an odd choice for a gameshow host at first glance, Warwick Davis makes for a fantastically fun and engaging host (even despite the occasional dad joke which often made me nervously go "Okay?" as well as the occasional vain reference at times to his work as the titular character in Willow, Professor Flitwick and Griphook the Goblin in Harry Potter and of course Wicket the Ewok from Star Wars), plus I just cannot help but love the way he says the catchphrase "Well, it saddens me to say you are terrible at Tenable" (speaking of which, I have developed a fun habit of adding and emphasising the word "absolutely" to make said catchphrase sound slightly better in my mind).

However, I wouldn't quite give the same amount of praise to temporary host Sally Lindsay (aka Shelley Unwin from Coronation Street and the voice of Piella Bakewell in Wallace and Gromit: A Matter of Loaf and Death) . Not to say that she was a bad substitute host per se, it's just that she sorely lacks the special magic, charm and humour that Warwick brings to the show in flying colours.

In conclusion, Tenable is such a fun and enjoyable little gameshow and I would definitely recommend it to anyone in need of a televisual exercise of their little grey cells.

My overall rating for Tenable: 8/10.

I'm so tired of game shows but this is really bad, the questions are impossible and you just know that the contestants are unlikely to win and only to then endure the repetitive words of 'your terrible at tenable'

ITV must have some cash, if only from competitions rather than advertising so how about some documentaries, restoration or environmental shows rather than this mindless rubbish.

Warwick can be annoying. And they make so many mistakes.who does their research joey Essex? They seem to have an obsession with lyrics and geography too.
