Slow burn

Yes it's a slow burn, but very atmospheric & dark. I would rate this 8.5 if IMDb let me. Spooky & very human. Ignore the naysayers...this is great TV.

DARK!
Sleepin_Dragon10 August 2018
There's not much to comment on from this episode, other then it is beyond dark, one of the darkest, most intense and claustrophobic things I've sat through in a long time. Very different from previous episodes, there was no lighter side, no human element, this was all about control, brutality and sadism. The episode served solely to give you an insight into the character of Dylan, his motivations, his bizarre relationships, with his victim, his monstrous mother and troubled daughter.

Very unusual, and at times a tough watch, with some incredibly upsetting scenes, I watched it on the edge of my seat. I kept wondering if the programme's title referred to the poor character of Megan. Is she hidden?

Interesting to see what's next, I found myself asking loads of questions, is Iona actually Dylan's Mum, is Nia really his daughter? So intriguing.

Rhodri Meilir excelled once again, as did Gillian Elisa (She was fabulous!) and Gwyneth Keyworth.

boring

Incredible boring episode. Useless waste of time. On and on about an abduction, While waiting for the investigation to go on. I read my email while watching this, waiting for the main story to go on.

Take a tip from Shakespeare

Warning: Spoilers
Even in yr most tragic plots you need to intersperse some light relief. Not that a copper with two grizzly sisters and a terminally ill dad is exactly "light" but a change was needed. I do not mind "dark" but this episode was unbalanced. Seriously wondering about carrying on despite my affection for hearing Welsh spoken on TV and the moody scenery which I love. This episode was awful.
