There are several clues that it was filmed in Malaysia and not in Bangladesh. Palm trees in plantation lines (Malaysia is a huge palm oil producer), Malay language writing (eg negara) on the side of a wall at the barracks showing that the place was a Malaysian Military Service barracks, the police uniforms are clearly Malaysian police uniforms, filming at luxury hotel Carcosa Seri Negara, in the next episode we see YTL cement bags (a leading Malaysian company).
