Everybody Wants to See This Happen

Casablanca. Citizen Kane. No Country for Old Men.

These films are often referenced as some of the best and most groundbreaking cinamatic experiences to have ever been created. Now, another title is added to that imposing pedestal.

There is simply is no way to truely express the emotions that this film elicits upon viewing; it tugs at the heartstrings like a master violinist would pluck on a stradivarius. This film stands as a monolith among its predecessors, wholly unique and yet, somehow, all too familiar. Viewing this film taps into some unknown subconcious instinct to better ones self as a person, and while I can only speak for myself, I knew my life was forever changed the moment the credits began to roll. It is a testament to the essence of the human experience and if you choose to miss it, youre not only doinf yourseld a disservice, you're spitting in the very face of perfection.

A Thrilling Cinematic Experience

Rat Movie is simply put the best movie to ever be released. From the memorable characters, awe-inspiring soundtrack, gorgeous visuals, and thrilling story comes the action packed story about a fabled mayan treasure and giant rats. It is a must see for all fans of movies and filmmaking

I would raise a family with this movie. I would be the wife that works hard to keep it happy and the house together and it would be the loving husband that gets us the financial stability we need

An Instant Classic

Never before has such a masterpiece graced humanity. This film is without equal; it easily surpasses the comparatively amateurish works of Spielberg or Tarantino and transcends the medium of cinema itself. The music direction sets the tone straight from the beginning, taking the somber and dreary backdrop of the cliffside English castle and brightening it up with the persistent and optimistic chants of the rats as they proudly proclaim, "Rats! We're rats! We're the rats!" From here, the movie picks up speed as the central talent of Big Nosed Brit and Crazy Blue Guy shine in their respective roles, pulling off lines with such raw emotion that no other actor could hope to replicate. The climactic fight scene was so incredibly choreographed that one might mistake it for a grand historical battle of old. The ambitiously bold choice of mixing in elements of a 1990's crime drama paid off, as Giant Rat the 2nd and Kitty Cop agents 1 through 3 showcased their broad acting flexibility through the transitions in genre. The final scene not only wraps up all the parts leading up to it superbly, but it also leaves the audience begging for more. This legendary animated feature has deservedly landed itself in the theatres of the world, in the hearts of inspired fans, and in the pages of the great history books, to be passed down for many generations to come.

Truly an amazing piece of art from our resident Jeremy. A artistic film that can be watched again and again, each time giving you some new philosophical queries to ponder through the night. Can easily be watched 20+ times in one day. Recommended for any cinephile. Absolute kino

Best film of the century

This is the most stupendous animated film of our generation. Every scene is pieced together flawlessly, the voice acting is better than top notch and the animation is greater than anything pixar has created. This film- No. This work of art really makes you feel like a rat. I recommend this to movie watchers everywhere.

The script writing is top notch, TOP NOTCH. The movie starts with the tear jerking composition of the internal struggle we all must face as we march into the abyss of existence. But not to worry if this isn't the kinda start your looking for, as the movie gives you the fastness you want. As we are sprung into mystery, suspense, wonder, Greatest digitally rendered effects in the history of mankind. Some people say its a rarity when a film reveals to you some greater understanding of life, yet somehow this film encapsulates much more. Grab your popcorn, bring your Kleenex and celebrate life with this odyssey of the mind.

Absolutely mind boggling and absolutely amazing

This movie changed my perspective on life.I was in a very dark spot at the time but when I came across this it was like the light at the end of a tunnel.This was an angel sent down by god himself. The moment I saw this I knew it was going to be okay, all my troubles vanished.I cried tears of joy the whole movie. Even though it was five minutes it felt like forever, eternal heaven. Pure happiness and bliss. I now value life and I have converted. I love earth and it's environments. If this were shown to everyone it would create world peace. No borders, no race, no need for war. This has made the world a better place.Thank you Rat Movie:Mystery of the Mayan Treasure.

Before watching this movie, I've never knew this existed, Despite knowing who Jerma985 is. I would've never found this movie if it weren't for Vincent "Vinny" Pizzapasta, founder of Vinesauce™ This movie, while short, has great voice acting, great animation, great characters and many engaging environments. I cannot recommend this movie enough.

Masterpiece of Film

I can hardly describe how much I adore this movie. It makes me laugh, cry, and think about the world we live in. I can honestly say that this movie has made me a better man.

It's incredible what Jeremy has done with his animation. All of the character designs perfectly express their personality. The backgrounds are beautiful and highly detailed. The rats are extremely lifelike, and I am truly intimidated by the giant rat. I can tell that lots of thought and work went into every frame of this movie.

The soundtrack for this movie is beautiful and intricate. I can't find who wrote the score, but whoever it was has done a masterful job. I really like the rat theme song, and how the music and poetry combine so beautifully.

I am always amazed by the talent of the voice actors in this movie. It's incredible how many different characters could be portrayed by so few actors. All of the lines are delivered with passion and drama. Some parts bring me to tears every time I watch.

Finally the writing of this story is stellar. The plot goes through so many twists and turns, but keeps a consistent tone and strong central thread throughout. I have never encountered such a beautiful and meaningful story in film before this movie. This movie is seriously underrated and deserves to be put in the Library of Congress. I share this movie with friends and family whenever I get the chance, and hope to pass this masterpiece on to my children some day.

The Citizen Kane Of Our Time

Imagine a film that deals with the struggle of mankind,Imagine a film that is universally loved and is perfect in every way,Imagine a film that has ground breaking everything,that film is this.Unlike every other film this film uses subtlety in it's advantage,The film begins with two criminals looking for the mayan treasure we aren't told why we just have to assume,in most movies this wouldn't work but this film it actually helps it and it doesn't take genius to understand why they are doing this the criminals represent the greed and impurities in the world as they want nothing else and they are also the only characters to swear consistently,when they find the treasure they are confronted by the guardian of the treasure who represents to purities of the world,unfortunately the rats the arguably main characters of the film show up and have their leader "The Giant Rat" eat the guardian but The Giant Rat soon eats one if the criminals but gets shot,The Giant Rat represents life as a whole,how the purities of it get taken away and how the impurity's will later no longer be in life,later in the film one of the rats take the mantle of The Giant Rat and kills the other criminal which represents how no matter what you try life will live and never end,it may end for you but it won't end as a whole,the cat police later show up in the final act.At first they are seen as the "good guys" but after the earth explodes we see a cat in a ufo,what this means is that the people who try to do good things end up making things worse for others and the environment (Atleast from what I got) overall this film is needed to be seen if you want a life that is actually good and if you haven't seen it I urge you to watch it. And BTW this film is better than citizen kane and any other film that claims to be the best film of all time
