The opening scene with Nick and Judd started off a bit rough with me quickly wondering if this show was for me, but eventually when I figured out the pace of the program and that it was going to be conversational humor I got on board. Adding in Jason Mantzoukas and Bob Odenkirk as guest stars proved to be a wise move, but Amy Sedaris had a number of laugh out loud moments as well, particularly when describing her son's private time habits.
This was not perfect, but it was one of the best comedy series premieres of the year.
