It is the episode of Rupert Everett and Fabrizio Bentivoglio. And the words of novel are, in inspired manner, resurrected. The only sin remains the desire of director to give more a good adaptation but a huge fresco. The intention is honest and admirable. The result is more or less reasonable. The motif - it is a great novel, in every senses. To mix the love story, heresies stories and the work of William of Baskerville in a huge ball is risky. Sure, the episode gives, in beautiuful sense, the expected Bernardo Gui. The problem , one of them, of course, remains the los Anna.
