First I wish Kudos to the whole team. The flow of the movie started slowly it shifted its gear to higher speed gradually and started connecting the points and gave a Thriller experiences which suits the genre. Editing was done brilliantly till the end of movie. All the character has done justice to their role.

Sourabh Shukla has done excellent direction as debutant. We were able to see his passion It was another feather on cap for first time director Sourabh Sukla to win the Dadasaheb palke Film festival award.

I recommend to watch this movie and encourage the team to bring more such movies.

After watching a few Kannada movies like KGF, Kantara and Charlie I realised this small industry has some gems.

Stumbled upon this interesting title 1888. It looks like a low budget independent movie but I was blown away by the concept of the movie.

I don't want to reveal more and provide spoilers. Fantastic screenplay and music complemented by everyone's natural performances. Not to forget that after long time i saw some good natural action sequences. Strongly recommend this thriller.

Firstly, I would like to congratulate the entire team for the award and really I should appreciate the whole team for this awesome output. I heartily loved Aruna(Vikram) in this movie, the way he acted is awesome and it shows he is highly skilled and talented in acting field and I would like to see Vikram kumar in main character in his future projects as he definitely deserve that in our KFI. Neethu acted well and after long time I saw her in this movie with nice character. Adhvithi Shetty's acting is also good. Over all I could say it's one of the best movie in our KFI. Love to watch this movie N number of times guys. Our KFI moving next level because of talented actors and good stories. Let us encourage them.

Amazing movie with fantastic direction and concept. All the new comers have given justice to their character. Especially Vikram's acting and comedy timing. He is an example that whatever profession he might be in but given a chance he experimented himself for his passion without disrupting his career. He could have given the lead character as it was treat to see him and his acting and had to wait when he would again appear . Locations and the cinematography is just wow 😀🎉💐. Neethu Shetty is already an established actress. Manju's acting and stunts were great. Adhvithi Shetty and prathap as a pair looks great on screen. Having winning so many awards world wide, this movie has to be recognised further . Hope it gets a theatre release and a OTT release at a good platform and many people get to watch it . This movie is an example that a good movie can be made without heroism in it.

Movie which brings on the indie form of film making to kannada film industry with many established artists in thw crew. A story based on reality which took the people by surprise when the demonitization was implemented in India. Good team work to begin using the guirella form of film making. Had participated in the International Panorama Film Festival of Bengaluru and won two awards. The director sourab shukla has done a commendable job for his first movie. The technical team have done a neat work in their respective departments. The actors have supported well to the ypung team also the lead actress has penned a song for the movie which is good to listen. The title itself is very catchy to bring the audience to watch the movie.

I decided to watch this movie without any expectations and i think I made the right choice. I watched it with my family members and though my mom found it slow initially I did not find the movie slow because I like how the characters and backdrop of demonetisation was slowly built up. There were a tad few extra songs in the first half but they were not bad. Infact I loved the romantic track.

Looks like apart from Neethu Shetty every one else in the cast and crew were newcomers and that did not spoil the movie experience one bit.

I won't reveal any more details and let the surprise out. Just know one thing that this is not your run of the mill thriller. There are no psycho killers or bank robberies and no regular tropes used in this intelligent movie.

1888 had recently won an award in DadaSaheb Phalke Film Festival. That's the only place where there was some news about this movie though the director has mentioned the movie has been screened in several film festivals.

I think this is one of the best thrillers in recent times and different from the other Kannada movies we get to see.

Except for the performances of a few minor characters and the grainy shots at night i like everything in the movie.

Especially the twist, which was totally unexpected.
