A mysterious Man, convincing armed men to abandon them and cross the borders of Israel Some say is godsend... But what hides beneath? The storyline is not bad, but it is so slow unraveling

Has me interested

I thought it was rather well done, nice little spin at the end left me wondering.

Something a little bit different thats for sure, people probably giving it average reviews because its a concept that hasn't been put on display much.

I think its worth a watch for sure

Very impressed

Unlike other reviews I've seen here, I am very impressed. Episode 1 has sucked me in and I will absolutely be binge watching the whole thing today. I am a Christian and love Mark Burnett and Roma Downeys biblical and Christian work so far. This is controversial, tho. I'm not if sure my mother, the old school southern Baptist woman, will like this or not. She definitely won't like the swearing but I think that this is just a realistic view of how Jesus may be received if he were to come today. The reading from the Koran might turn off some Christians but it looks like he changes his methods depending on who he's speaking to. He came to Israel speaking from the Koran and from the looks of it, will speak from the Bible when he comes to the USA. Who are we to say which is right and which is wrong? Jesus is for all people, which I believe I read he actually will say that very line somewhere in here and that's the truth of it. That's exactly what this show is meant to do tho, I believe, is spark conversation, and it's doing that already for me. I can see myself and mother and sister having conversations over every episode of this, so keep up the good work, Mark and Roma, and God bless you.

Great New Series

This is a show you must actually pay attention to and not just have it on in the background. Mehdi Dehbi (Al-Masih) is a new actor to me but I am now intrigued by him and his acting abilities. While watching Tomer Sisley (Aviram Dahan) I kept thinking he looked so familiar so I checked IMDB and realized he was Pablo in We're The Millers. He is very convincing as Avi and also a little bit scary. Michelle Monaghan plays an uptight CIA agent who is hiding an illness and eager to prove the Messiah is a fake.

1st episode - Not impressed
MegaMaexn2 January 2020
Not a very captivating start, the storytelling seems artificial, the message is vague at best and the characters are certainly not relatable. The constant change from English to Hebrew is annoying and entirely unnecessary, it really doesn't add to the story nor does it help the flow of the show. It's trying a bit too hard to be mystical and mysterious, not sure the hype will get me watching it through until the end...

Lies
sal_sss20 February 2020
The fact is acknowledged by ex US officials that US forces help ISIS in Syria and "allies" started regime change destroying that beautiful country. Why start with a cheap propaganda lie?

suggestions

Many suggestions, contemporary frame , interesting characters. Short, a good start for a serie proposing a sort of enigma easy to develop in many directions.
