Now that Quantico's ended those who are looking to fill their Quantico-sized hole might find something familiar with FBI. For a pilot it's pretty decent, production is great and it was riveting, but that's always expected of pilots, hopefully they can keep this up because it was a good start. It starts off with an explosion and it also reminded me of the Quantico pilot, which also began with an explosion. It was pretty cool and it shocked me a little bit. I was impressed a little with the cinematography, that's something that I always focus on.
About the characters, though, well we haven't learned a lot from them yet and it's good that the pilot didn't do venture on that part that much because it's a tactic for us to keep watching. Some faces are pretty familiar and I welcome them with open arms. Those who have seen way too many action films and series might not actually watch the second episode if your focus is on the characters, because most of them are quite predictable, but those just looking for something new might give this a chance.
Missy Peregrym is great, she brings a good mix of badass and emotion. But I'm more interested with her partner, they call him OA. He looks pretty much like a sidekick but the pilot didn't actually delve much into him so I'll give the next few episodes a chance (See? Tactic).
Hopefully, the show can maintain the pilot's momentum and even improve when it comes to storyline, with a lot of similarly-themed shows out there like Blindspot, and of course, the recently cancelled Quantico, etc... the plot can seem predictable. I'm hoping FBI will bring something new to the table and impress a lot of viewers. And I'm also looking forward to sexiness, you should never rule that out. Haha.
