Very subtle gem.

That' s precisely the kind of gem that you can find on Amazon Prime once in a while, if you spend enough time to dig among straight to DVD grade Z craps, and other big scale movies which any movie buff has seen dozens of times before. The kind of films I am talking about are most indie features, not for all audiences, pop corn audiences whom I despise so much. Yes, thanks to Amazon Prime, I can discover movies like this one, the tale of.a man whom we see at different stages of his life: child, teen and grown up. Hard to follow at first sight, or seemingly too simple. Very complex to summarize. Well, a kind of French TAXI DRIVER, if you consider the basic scheme. This would hav epleased to David Cronenberg, the great specialist of mutation. The absorbing study of transformation, mutation of a man. It is very subtle, you have to watch very closely, It focuses on the impact of the modern society on human behavior. It is not an action flick, but a story that may justify a form of facism, as DEATH WISH did forty seven years ago.
