Had my doubts, but then the whole season turned to be a masterpiece.

So at the end of last season i had some doubts that the show will turn a bit dull after the uncovering of zombies in the city of Seattle ,, but i was wrong the season was so emotional ,, filled with an amazing jaw dropping heart stopping moments.

Loved how the plot changed after everyone knew about the zombies but more importantly ,, the trio of Olivia, Clive and Ravi kept on the same routine with the same style,, different new characters for Miss. Moore to impersonate and got to see Ravi do it for once ...

Add to that ,, we've seen a hilarious Ravi-Major duo and "you might not like me saying this" the duo of Blaine-Don E ,, OMG ,, i Love them ,, please more bits of these two in the last season ,, man they are hilarious.

All the characters were really engaging and i think they were that way because there were some suspicions that this season would be the final one.

Anyway,, final thought,, renewals made ,, no date for next and final season premiere's date but probably next October ,, and gosh it already feels like a year long.

Turned out well!

I was afraid that it was going to do a True Blood: i.e. run out of storyline and pimp itself out at the expense of the core characters, but despite the change of direction, the New Seattle plotline worked out really well and managed to stay true to its blood.

Moreover, this time 'round, iZombie didn't play homage to the cheap viewership gag that is the series cliff-hanger and in the final episode actually pulled all the threads together (and then some) for a rare, satisfyingly tight ending.

All in all, a very satisfying conclusion to four excellent seasons of a wonderful, original series... If it ended here, I wouldn't complain a single bit.

Renegade

A good season in the books with a sad but good ending, loved how most of the storylines came together in one way or another. Some killer action. Long live renegade.

bad ending to poor season

First of all this season had some good points. Major's choosing Filmore Graves since it was the only place that would not judge him for his past. Clive and Dale's relationship and all of it's difficulties. Even Chase Graves and his difficult decisions he has to make to keep New Seattle functioning. Liv's story was by far the worst choosing to worsen the zombie overpopulation simply because she sees it as a noble cause. Yes lives of the terminally ill were being saved but at the cost of the entire city starving and being nuked. The finale was poorly written and had to many Deus Ex shortcuts simply to stup for the next season.

Meh...

Warning: Spoilers
I hope this is the last season.

Since a while, the show is running on empty, with a lot of filling episodes.

Always the same taste : someone is held captive, another one try to save him/she. The good wins, the villain lose.

Well, this last episode shows nothing new : Liv will be killed, but is saved at the last minute...by convenient script. Also, her actual boyfriend is killed first, and...can't be saved, because of a convenient script : she need to be single, to have a new chance to go with Major. The FG boss is killed at the end, because super-villain always die at the end. Cherry on the cake : Major is now the new FG boss. So convenient script.

There is a cure to change zombies to humans again. But it's only for one person, because of convenient script. So, Liv can be human again, but give it up and the cure goes to Clive and Dale...because they want kids. Lazy writing again.
