A slower episode but still as good!

Warning: Spoilers
A slower episode however still provocative. An episode that focused on more of the psyche of the killers who Holden interviewed, the acting by the two killers was superb, doing it justice. Moreover we dealt with the team separated and focused more on their own story lines. Wendy and her bar tender lover, Bill and the death in their home town as well as the effect on the community and lastly Holden with the findings about the missing/death of the black children. The introduction to the black women story was intriguing and set up an interesting dynamic with Holden and whether he will pursue the case. Once again the acting was perfect as well as the eerie sound track which complements the dark nature of the show. Interesting to see where the 3 stories will lead and how the BTK will be integrated within them. Bring on episode 4

Episode 203

Warning: Spoilers
Our first standout episode of the third season. Interesting subjects that were interviewed and a good one-off story with Holden seeing the pain caused by murders, how it impacted people, and how racial tension was especially prevalent in the world he is working in.

Expanding

When Holden goes to Atlanta, he finds himself in the middle of something he hadn't planned on. He encounters the product of racism in the 70's as a trio of black women meet to support each other. They have lost children to violent deaths (one is missing but it is assumed she is gone). Bill is dealing with a tragic death in his neighborhood. A couple interviews are extremely interesting for different reasons.

Black or White

Holden tested that he can handle the cases for himself. And he passed. By the way, he gives signals that he ready for new relationship or he needs one night stand and relax. The episode is a bit about close relationships. Also look at the late 70's America's racism politics.

Warning: Spoilers
The episode was pretty interesting and have some nice events and Holden is in charge of another case who missing childs and he try to analyse the files. Also Holden is still spy by the others and the women worried about the emotional state of Holden. And the blonde get a date at the end. The behavior of some killers are pretty interesting and interesting to follow and we have some maybe racial killers or student killers? Interesting and need to see more.

Hold on Ford

This guy is something else, he thinks he knows everything, and apparently doesn't like people he deems unintelligent. Anyway, good storyline and character development.

For this episode downgraded because of Hollywood

Seriously???!!!? They had to throw lesbian in there didn't they, just like the first season had boring times with Holden and that idiot college chick- who cares we wanted the behaviors of killers. Besides that, Dr Carr was not gay and it certainly didn't make the series anymore interesting, totally uninteresting and unnecessary. Disappointed; so sick of Hollyweird always having to inject gay, multi-racial, mixed race families or couples or transgender people in everything...even Sabrina the freaking witch for Pete's sake.

I love this series and am stuck to the screen listening and enjoying the conversations, can we ever just stick to that anymore? Bill's situation was interesting because of his son, that adds to understanding him AND the theme of his work but the other love or family lives, nope just a waste of time on a series that seems to only run 2 seasons. Otherwise the series is a 9!
