As soon as the first segment ended and showed no continuity, I stopped watching. Someone for the love of god take that first "piece" get a decent cast and make an entire movie or mini series based on it. I actually wanted to know what the hell was going on with the father's arms. If you're gonna watch this (bad acting aside) stop as soon as you see the yellow hooded figure like I did and just make your own fanfic based on it.
1 point to acknowledge the film
1 point for the concept of the first "piece"
1 point for the back to the future references

Barely okay.

Unlike most of the people, I didn't find this anthology to be cringe-worthy. But, it was completely purposeless. Rather than reviewing this as a whole, I would like to say things about the four disjointed short films in it.
First one. It was the only one which justified the title of the anthology. There were some tropes that we have seen before and they have been played out in a better way and in a better context. It told the story very well, except that the ending was vague. I would've wanted to see more of it. Score : 6.9/10.
Second one. The usual looping of time and stuff. It was nothing exciting and was really predictable. We have seen the thing being played out very well in "Predestination" and many other movies. Here, it's just terrible acting and expositionary dialogues. It didn't make any sense. It felt like a small scene from a movie. Within itself, it had no story. Score : 0/10.
Third one. It was the best one among the four. The way things unfold are told visually rather than through expositions. This would've served as a good short film, if it wasn't a part of this anthology. The telling of the story is very good. The performances are okay. Due to its runtime, it doesn't explain the backstory properly. That's the only major drawback. It just wasn't so fitting to call it "Time Jumping" or so. Score : 8/10. Grade : A-.
Fourth one. This was one of the weirdest things I have ever seen. Mere mentioning of a time leap doesn't justify a "time jump", it will just be lame. It wasn't a horror or a sci-fi stuff. Just some lame video clip. It was shortest and stupidest among all. Score : 0/10 (cringe).
This anthology gave me two watchable short films and two which don't make any sense. I still think that it's a terrible idea to put all these short films in a collection which would make every one of them feel as inferior shorts.
Rating for the entire anthology : 4.1/10.

The movie started ok (although with bad acting). Then....the story changed to a completely unrelated movie and it went downhill from here.....if you are looking for your time travel movie fix go somewhere else....there are plenty of indy time travel movie gems out there and this isn't one of them.
How on Earth did 165 voters think this was a 10/10???
greg-goremykin1 January 2020
This was not just bad, it was epically bad. I barely ever give a film 1/10, most because I think far too many people that didn't enjoy a movie automatically go there (not to mention those that give, say, the latest sequel to their favourite childhood franchise a 1/10 if they didn't like the plot, or too much fan service, not enough fan service, etc.)
Almost every film I can find some redeeming quality, no matter how small or obscure, to merit at least a 2 or 3 or 4 even if I didn't enjoy it, but I searched for anything about this one that I found positive and came up empty handed. Maybe I have a bit of bias I suppose because I'm also ticked off (1) Because the 6/10 IMDb rating with a fair amount of votes tricked me into thinking it was a legit 6/10, and (2) also ticked off at myself for not reading any of the user reviews, and hanging in too long watching this (I only made it to the end of the 2nd story of 4 apparently) thinking the script would tie things together somehow, or... something would happen to make it better.
Avoid!!

If I could rate this any lower, I would

What started out as a potentially good movie was quickly ruined by the unrelated stories that were just horrible and really pointless to the discovery of the little time altering ball found by the boy in the beginning. I advise you not to waste an hour of your life watching this rubbish because it is unlikely to see that hour of your life again. Like another reviewer said, there are waaaay better time jumping movies out there
?????
nedkelly-894877 December 2018
I don't know what the writer was drinking or smoking but he should lay off the stuff, at first it seemed like a good sifi movie then it descended into a total farce, with nothing that related to the start of the film, I don't know what they were trying to d but they obviously failed, total con job, but ok if you have ten mins or so to waste!!
don't you realize it?
ericdirgahayu13 December 2018
You watch the first story and then you are taken to another story, with different times, different places and different stories, and then other stories with different story settings, without you knowing you have passed the time jumper
Worst movie ever
alexnelson-9722112 March 2019
Do not watch this movie. I just created a IMDB account hopefully so nobody has to sit through this movie ever again. Bad acting. Unrelated stories. It starts bad and gets worse. If this movie said it was a foreign collection of RL Stein shorts I may have given it 2 stars.
Time jumper.

What? Who rated this in the 5s??
davholsea-9900211 February 2019
Less a movie, more an anthology of 4 "stories" (loosely based around a "time" theme) that wants to be Twighlight Zone or Tales Of The Unexpected when it grows up.
And it succeeds - as long as you ignore the shocking writing, awful acting and Ham-fisted directing.
Reset:
What was that all about? Am-Dram where they mixed up the pages and ended up with a story that made no sense at all.
Momentum:
A stab at a "time-travel-cycle" story that lacks conviction and mistakes an idea for a plot.
Vienna Waits For You:
The best is a bad bunch. Tenant-trapping apartment tale that deserves better company.
The Graveyard Shift:
That unfinished story that your 11yr old self wrote in an exercise book and quickly forgot. Brought to the screen. Still unfinished.
Had lots of potential....
chad-064556 December 2018
Everything the previous reviewers said is true. But if each story actually HAD an ending, it could have been a great 'Tales From the Crypt' or "Outer Limits" type of film. I mean, no endings AT ALL. It's like the director said, " Let the viewer figure it out". Pure and simply... false representation in the description. Acting wasn't 1st class, but they didn't really have an idea of where anything was going anyway. Waste of time ...unless your a glutton for punishment.
Rated a 1 because there was no 0
holly-3996131 December 2018
Rated a 1 because there was no 0. It was the most confusing movie I've ever seen. None of the stories were connected, and none of them had an ending. I don't know why anyone would have done this movie. I don't know what the director was smoking when he/she made this movie...

An Anthology of time related 4 short movies in one
mubbasherkhanzada15 December 2018
I was initially skeptic about this due to the negative reviews from others, however I am glad I stayed with this feature. It is a collection of 4 different short movies, with different actors and plots, done by different teams and production houses (you can see it at the end in credits). Each movie has nothing to do with the others, they are all independent (exactly as it says Anthology in the opening credits).
The 4 short movies are reminiscent of Twilight Zone, the only common thing in these movies is that they all deal with some abnormality related to time. The acting is quite decent, score and sound effects are done well. Overall, they retain the interest level and intrigue for each piece on its own.
I would say this anthology is a decent effort, perhaps some people were/would be disappointed who might have been looking for action / thriller and lots of moving part relating to time jumps or discontinuities (perhaps the title name is a bit misleading in this respect), however these movies are quite subtle in their approach.

French-art-film garbage.
wondertimeorange26 December 2018
No, it's not actually a French art film -- it's American, but it's difficult to tell the difference.
No plot. Nothing connects with anything else. No point. No purpose. Little more than interesting patterns on the screen.
It's the journey, not the destination. That CAN be a good thing, IF it's done well. In this case, no, it's not done well.
As with all French art film garbage, don't expect any explanations.
Don't bother asking, "Why?" Your questions will go unanswered.

Nothing worth watching here

A thoroughly vile film. Can't honestly see why anyone would want to watch this. It's not funny, not thought-provoking, not interesting, just full of horrible people and violence for violence' sake.
Don't waste your time.

Would be good as an anthology type series!

When I saw this, it reminded me a bit like black mirror, only time related plots instead. The first and last of the 4 "mini stories" had a good storyline and concept going for them, but the ones in between shafted from English to foreign languages for some reason (which isn't really explained) but in it's defence, it adds subtitles when they speak a foreign language.
To summarise if they focused on this "Time Travel/Time related" genre but adapted it as a TV show (like black mirror) type deal, I reckon it could do quite well :)
