A solid 0/10 (if only I could rate it 0/10). I wonder if this could be called a "film" does that blur the boundary of what is an artistic production of ideas and what is pure reproduction of propaganda.

Xi, as a new influential emperor of China and the greatest leader in the present world, has unparalleled ambitions. This movie shows how he has led the spirited people to build a powerful empire and crave for world domination. The dinosaur-like empire under his control namely is Amazing China.

China did achieve amazing development recently. However, this move is just like a director's cut of the CCTV news at 7:00pm these years. Nothing amazing if you watch news everyday. But if you never watch CCTV news, you may think wow, it is amazing.

90s minutes' bs:) I guess the only point of the film was to get attention of President Xi regardless billions' people are cursing him.

After watched the movie, you will understand why the "People's Representative Assembly" voted Yuan Shikai II a lifetime emperor. It is really amazing to have an emperor in 21st century in China. This is not in an old history book, and you are not dreaming.

I like the idea that the film illustrated-that China is a powerful and strong country with hard working people.But I can't bare the action that forces people go to see it.

Seems like every user here is give this movie a one star rating. Well the goverment promots and advertises it unfairly, so don't expect it to be rated fairly. When people are actually forced to watch and praise such a "movie", no one would enjoy it. Besides it's poorly produced so one star fits perfectly. Throughout this documentary they are not DOCUMENTING, just PRAISING, like those singing sheep from Animal Farm.

I really love this film. It's such a perfect masterpiece that indicates how powerful China is now (yes! Under our great leader's eternal rule, we will be the strongest collective in the galaxy) Also, the only cast there, our great emperor and the reborn father of Chinese people, is worthy for more propaganda films, songs, poetries.

I have never seen such a bad video like that ! The whole film is prasing Xi Jinping ,that made me so boring.

This is a documentary that focuses (almost) solely on progress made during Xi Jinpings rule thus far. I notice there are many negative votes here and I do question the motivation behind the negativity, because this is really a good film. Exhilarating and moving, this film leaves no doubt about the progress in the past years, present days and progress in the future to come.

I got the opportunity to catch this one at the cinema in Nanjing and it was a thrilling experience. Some might call it propaganda specifically designed to make you feel proud about the motherland and certain about your future within it. Some cynics might even go as far as to say this film is only about rounding support for Xi Jinping and his continued rule into the 2020´s. To those kind of people I just have to say, "whatever".

Propaganda films aren´t anything new or necessarily bad and documentaries doesn´t necessarily have to (pretend to) be either objective or critical just for the sake of being critical or pretending to be objective. One could argue all day about objectiveness, but frankly it´s never there, because once a lense focuses on something it is always at the cost of everything around it. I am European and I can tell this much, propaganda lives everywhere in Europe and it´s not even good propaganda, just vicious and revolting propaganda, and there is always an agenda behind it, democracy or not. It is in the end the experience of the viewer -whom might be critical but certainly never objective- that matters. And I did go to see a film with my chinese wife to feel good while getting some enlightenment about hers and our childrens country and its ruling government, and this film did it for me. And in today´s political climate in China, I will feel very proud to tell my children I was there when it happened, and I did see this film as it happened. Because I am not Chinese, I call this a semi-objective viewpoint. Also, I am very proud to be the first reviewer of this film on IMDb.

For those who want to slag me off for this review, I can confirm that yes I am a Social Democrat, and I am become disillusioned with the (lack of) development in Europe and the current course of politics and even of democracy is taking these times around, a long time ago. The western democracy is severely perverted from the original idea of the ancient Greeks and I do look to China for inspiration and purpose. This film was what I needed to see.

Don't judge people only by their diploma. A man who failed to graduate from his junior high school can even become the first emperor of this country in 21 century. The story this movie tells is so amazing that every citizen in this country will be happy to emigrate. Therefore, I give 1/10 to this movie.

If only they can change the title to ''Li Hai le, My Winne''. It is really annoying that I cannot give a 0 rating. Anyway they made a good try, I believe anyone with sound logic will not buy any of it....

Well, this department is the worst and the most hilarious department of CPC. It literally DOES NOTHING but makes sarcastic propaganda about PRC. nobody except some irrational Chinese nationalists or radical supporters of CPC would believe any word from it. Those useless officials should learn from the US (National Endowment for Democracy, VOA, etc.), Russia (RT, etc.), France (Radio France Internationale, etc.), Germany (Deutsche Welle, etc.) and even FA LUN GONG rather than criticize them with clueless sentences. CPC is probably the richest and the most powerful party in this world. There is no reason that its Publicity Department can only make some garbage like this movie.

A crazy fat Winnie will become a cold blood killer just like Mao dynasty

This is the best movie I've seen in my entire life! This movie perfectly described how much Chinese people loved and enjoyed their country's dictatorship, and how much they loved their dictator Xi. After seeing this movie i don't pity those Chinese who lived under tyranny anymore. They did it to themselves so they absolutely deserve it.

This movie is like a perfect ester egg from for audience of the book 1984, it shows people how realistic the novel will be and there is a real example is happening on our planet!

What a pathetic movie, and director. Shame! Wish I can rate this movie -100/10 but 1 is the minimum. This movie is nothing but a soviet style commie's propaganda back to 1980s with an enhanced graphic. I don't even know since when does Xi Jing ping become an actor? If there's any movie that he's involved, I'm looking forward to it. Sorry I change my words, this is the greatest movie in the Milky Way.

I rate the movie 2/10, because it is not a movie, it is totally a propaganda created by central government. All comments about this "movie" has been banned in china, people cannot even talk about this movie in Chinese Internet.

The most terrible thing is that all kids are forced to watch the "movie", they have no choice but have to watch and recite "sentences from Xi president" 😢

By the way, I would rate it 10/10 for a government propaganda.
