TL;DR: Found Footage die hards need this in their life! Give it a try.
This impressed me quite a bit! All of the things that I see people complaining about are what I actually thought made this movie so effective.
The audio is bad, yes, but it adds to the realism of the found footage aspect of this film. I thought the plot was well written, intriguing, and well acted. Especially, for a student film made with probably next to no budget.
The creature design and the way it is used is extremely effective and super creepy. This is one of the few horror movies I've seen that actually managed to scare me. And they didn't even use any cheap jump scares!
I understand why people don't like it, but I think its more of a case of people not. being a fan of the found footage genre.
This was incredible! Especially when you factor in the limitations that the creators of this project were working with. But they managed to play to their strengths and use their disadvantages to their benefit.
If you are a fan of FF, you owe it to yourself to at least check it out. In my book this is a hidden gem among piles and piles of absolutely garbage found footage horror. Best of all, you can watch it for free on the creators YouTube page!
