She's the One
nogodnomasters6 November 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Sylvia (Zainab Balogun) is Richard's (Chris Attoh) dream girl. Literally. He talks to her as a real person while he sleeps. When he meets a "real" woman, his dream girl gets more than just jealous.

The film is an interesting concept, it just had a boring execution.

Guide: No swearing, sex, or nudity.

Really awkward
RobinFlys16 July 2020
I can't finish watching this movie. The timing is so awkward. It reminds me of a daytime soap opera. I kept yelling, "Do something! Say something!"

Four stars because, believe it or not, I've watched much worse.

It's thrilling, kept me glued.

I loved it. Very different from the normal Naija movies you watch. I loved the strory line, the acting; especially Miss Balogun's, the pace and the quality. I would give it a 7/10 for originality.

Captivating

Zainab was captivating in her role as Sylvia. It left me hoping for a sequel. Throughout the twist and turns of the movie I could not help but be glued to the tv. I found myself pulling for Sylvia. Her seductiveness and witty demeanor was only surpassed by her outstanding acting skills.

Slow Paced, But Enjoyable to Watch

Warning: Spoilers
This was a somewhat twisted love story. Or maybe it was a story about mental illness. I thought it was a good story. It kept my interest. And I really wanted to see where the story would go although it was somewhat predictable and you pretty much knew something terrible would happen, but still I enjoyed the execution and journey getting there. I thought the story was pretty original or at least a new twist on the genre.

Awesome

The first time I saw this movie I was blown away. I don't want to sound crazy but I try to study things of this world. I don't want to spoil it for those who haven't seen it, especially if they are truly into deities like I am. I hope to see a second installment with the same characters and a darker plot.

This was pretty good

I enjoyed this film. What a unique plot line. I don't think I've ever come across such a plot in a book or a movie. It was interesting and the characters were quite likeable and charismatic. I was engulfed in the story from the beginning to the end.

Love it...

Nollywood producing good films, lovely, for lovers of alternative films, outside the Hollywood house, the technical quality is not the best, and the outcome is probably predictable and nothing very innovative, but the editing pleases, good performances, romanticized and dramatized satisfyingly, love it...

An outstanding Nollywood movie
vitaminscustard25 May 2022
This movie was simply outstanding. I was pleasantly surprised about all its aspects; although I would have preferred if they left the ending open, so it is not clear what choice the man would newly make. To anyone reading this review, do not let the ratings deter you from watching this excellent Nollywood movie!
