The final part had me gripped, literally sitting on the edge of my seat, the way they had built this up, I was left totally unsure as to which way Charlie was going to turn, and just who her loyalties rested with.
It was slick, tense, excellent from start to finish. It has been a truly enjoyable drama from start to finish, I am so glad to see that the works of John Le Carre still have such relevance, and how nice to see this drama on BBC1, not hidden out of sight on BBC2.
The acting was first class, Florence Pugh in particular, some of those scenes, were just incredible. Beautifully filmed, directed, and paced.
Terrific. 9/10
