Despite there being a big gap in the transmission of this one in regards to the pilot, it feels as if little time has elapsed, with everything still feeling very new and fresh, Cathy and Cat are still trying to suss one another out.
It really is a cash of the cultures, a comedy device that was used a hell of a lot twenty years ago, it's become less fashionable now, but it kind of works well, largely due to the two polar opposite mothers.
The cast are good, but Rebecca Front, is a comedy legend.
Love the music used throughout the show, great choices. I know Siobhan Finneran is supposed to look a bit tacky, she looks terrific.
