I concur

...with the others. I believe they should rename the series to The Crying Game. Plus the special effects are so 80's! Maybe Manifest was shot in the 80's and got lost during a black lightning...wasn't that another series?

Michaela

Warning: Spoilers
Michaela must have the sadest and most depressive look on her face I ever have seen. She is always saying she is sorry to Jared its almost to funny. I also wonder what kind of police work she do. Has her boss told her to work spesific with 828-cases because she dont do any other kind of investogating. The show started very interessting but now it start to floating out. Typical american tv-shows.

Good but Not Great [7/10]

Warning: Spoilers
Reaction / Review for Manifest Season 1 Episode 13: Episode 12 was good and I gave it a rating of 7.5/10. Zeke says he is responsible for his sister's death but all he did was talking to her in a rude way, that doesn't count as killing someone. Having these obsessed people who think that the passengers are aliens or freaks etc is interesting to watch. Too much Zeke in this episode, I mean he is a side character so why give him so much screen time? Well if they wanna make him a main character it would make sense. So we got an ok cliffhanger. Overall it is a good episode but not as strong as the previous ones. My rating is a 7/10.

Cleared for Approach

Manifest's "Cleared for Approach" is a good episode, although not as good as the last. The addition of Zeke's character adds a new mystery element that we haven't seen in a while, and his chemistry with Michaela is something worth watching for. The "828-Gate" conspiracy theorists are also an interesting addition, showing how Ben just can't stay uninvolved and always has to be "tough guy".

Thankfully, it seems that the writing is improving as the season progresses. The second half has been far superior to the first.

I really enjoy each and every single of the episode, and I'll say it again for people who complain nothing is happening aren't patient. They just just watch action series.

ZZZZZZZZZ

Warning: Spoilers
I liked Manifest...at first. Now....not so much. It's episode 13 and the show is becoming very drawn out, depressing, and redundant. The story/mystery is progressing at a snail's pace, while all of the super intense, brooding, humorless, (seemingly) half dead, white-washed (NSA director Vance was a little interesting...he sure did seem to die for no reason---...anybody seen Lourdes lately??) characters do rather uninteresting things throughout the episode....then out of the depths of monotony somebody goes emotional nova for about 13 seconds, then they talk about those 13 seconds for about 13 minutes.... Manifest in a nutshell is: Let's talk about it...extensively....but let's leave out really important details so we'll have to talk about it again... ie: *Detective says he's letting the crazy man that threw a brick through a window go...fails to mention he's putting tight surveillance on him. *Daughter says she knew about the callings...dad simply says he was trying to protect her...fails to mention why...because people that knew about the callings were dying. Zeke says he killed his sister...fails to convince me that he did literally kill his sister....no surprise he didn't literally kill his sister...After a certain point it's no longer drawing out suspense, it's just overplaying the suspense card. Manifest has become a show about a lot of people that have no idea what's going on...including it's viewers. Lackluster NO

You gotta be kidding! 7.1 rating?

This episode really does need to be preserved, and used in all acting classes as an example of how to do everything wrong! You want a white castrated male who cannot keep the tears from rolling down his face, every time his wife says boo, then Ben Stone is the perfect role. Of course Ben and Grace get back together, but only after he has repented over and over for trying to protect his family, and doing other such nasty manly things! He is only bested by Grace Stone, played by Athena Karkanis, who is the "strong woman" taken to the limit! She props up everyone, and keeps them going, no matter how much victimhood she has to endure. All the time showing us those pearly whites! Geez, what a Christian martyr she is! Bad script, bad writing, bad acting, bad everything. Use this in Theatre 101 on what not to do!

More nothing.
rsvp3211 February 2019
Nothing progresses, no questions answered, no sci fi (just soap), no likeable characters, no satisfaction to the viewer, week after week.

This episode, and series, offers nothing anymore, other than little teases and taunts as *bait* for the viewer to continue waiting for something to happen soon...but it never happens.

I quit!
