All I've watched is episode three about daytime talk shows and how it eventually progressed into reality tv. If you want to watch an actual documentary about daytime talk shows watch the old hbo one called "Talked To Death - The Dark Side of Daytime Talkshows" and you'll see more than this dumb show would care to reveal. All the "truth" they peddle is nothing but lies. They bring up the Jenny Jones Show and the murder of Scott Amedure, and they straight up lie about the situation which preceded it. The man Scott had a crush on that was invited plainly told the show he WOULD NOT JOIN if the guest who had a crush on him was a man. They lied to him and said "alright, it's a woman" to get him on the show. He says on air "you lied to me" while laughing nervously which could be taken as being directed towards his fellow guests but I feel as though it's towards the show as a whole. They also provided Scott with alcohol before the show began to "calm his nerves" so he would spill more about the details surrounding his fantasies about the straight man they tricked onto the show. This doesn't make murdering another human okay for any reason, but these facts do shed light on the true nature of these shows. On another talk show that the hbo documentary touches on it was revealed that a guest wasn't even who they said they were! This woman was pretending to be another woman who had refused to be on the show already. She fraudulently signed papers as the other woman as well and was told to do so by producers of the show. It's all such a joke I can't believe anything from A&E anymore. It's hard to believe anything from any platform at all. Then at the end of this trash they have to slip in some Trump tidbits and it's just annoying. Saying that reality television ruined the country because we have a president who is "acting the role of president" my god shut up. You had to turn this awful show political? You are annoying and no one wants your lies topped off with something political in the last minute. Please kindly shut up, and tell the whole truth or tell nothing at all. A&E, you're frauds.
