In space no one can hear you snore...

Prepare for snooze-fest launch. 3... 2... 1...

We are go. Snooze Control, we have lift off.

Wow, this 2020 sci-fi horror movie titled "Space" was boring. Infinitely boring and slow paced. I have to admit that I was lured in by the movie's synopsis. I should perhaps have checked the movie on IMDb prior to watching it, as the abysmally low score definitely would have raised some alarms.

Yeah, this movie is not worth the time or effort. The storyline had potential, sure. But it was just a slow paced heap of nothing happening, aside from people sitting around together talking, or people sitting alone in pods talking to one another on faulty video feeds.

"Space" from writers Cooper Holmes and Monte Light just failed to entertain me, much less give me anything worthwhile or enjoyable to watch. I gave up on the movie with just 26 minutes left. But at that point my brain was stir-cooked and I had wandered off almost to Sleep Land twice. So yeah, this was a snooze-fest of epic proportions.

The dialogue in the movie was not really well written, nor was it well delivered on the screen. Most of the times it felt amateurish and as if the actors and actresses, themselves, didn't buy into it.

And the storyline was just rubbish. A whole lot of nothing happening.

As for the acting in the movie, well don't get your hopes up. The performances here weren't exactly memorable, nor were they overly convincing. Let's just leave it at that.

My rating of director Monte Light's 2020 movie "Space" lands on a three out of ten stars. Do yourself a favor and take heed of the low rating this movie has managed to acquire, because it is an indicator of the level of entertainment you are in for, should you opt to sit down to watch the movie anyway.

Pretty good...

For a low budget movie $11,000 (estimated), this one is pretty good. The cast all give pretty solid performances and one is enthralled enough to see how it ends.

I really don't know why they have used the Elder Sign (from the Cthulhu Mythos of horror writer H.P. Lovecraft) as the team logo... very odd.

This is not a horror really, but a worthwhile indie sci-fi movie... give it a go.

Not Bad

This is not the worst movie yet made. I watched the whole thing. The ending song was good, one can actually understand the words. I would give this a 3. But mid Star Wars movies are a 3 or 4 max. The limits of low budget kind of force limited sets and lots of talking.

Great independent

Fabulous job for an indie film!! If you can get through the first 30 minutes the second half of the film is absolutely stunning!! It really takes a beautiful turn and the lead (Lara Jean Sullivan) does an amazing job all in her own!
