Lost
bobcobb3016 December 2019
Warning: Spoilers
Carl and Debbie having a moment was good, even if the latter is almost always boring and annoying with what she does

Fiona having a chance to go out on top might be the perfect way to write off her character, but we'll see what happens.

Deb's story line
kcomp-929035 March 2019
It seems the longer this show is running the less funny it is becoming. It's far more serious and trying to teach us values instead of being a show to laugh and be entertained. The storyline this year of Deb is disappointing. It seems like her becoming a welder was a positive part of her life. She used to be the goofy one and lighthearted. Just because she's had a baby it doesn't mean she needs to become brooding and dark. I especially don't like the writers turning her into a bisexual character. I mean what are the odds or likelihood that one crazy family would have two LGBT characters in the same family.

Better Than the Last Few Eps...
rhyllann13 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
I noted Liam's absence from the show, just assumed the actor had other obligations (pulling an Ian, I guess). Didn't know they'd make it into a thing.

There must be something in the water in Chicago regarding the local geniuses, that's all I'm going to say on that topic. *sigh* It's getting old, cheerleaders. When are we going to put us Asians on the map?? Oh right, we only get Lesbo work. Too bad they checked that box with Debbie (after nine years and just in time for Ian's departure. How noble).

Anyway, this episode isn't nearly as PSA as the others. STILL hadda bring it up, tho.

The Cami cancer issue: We ALL have to die. We ALL have to do that someday. Can't live worrying about it. That is an awful existence. If we are to take anything from this episode, that would be it.

Oh for heaven's sake, Christ was a JEW from the Middle East/Israel. Talk about culture appropriation...Galilee/Israel is located in Asia Minor. First they alter literature to film to accommodate, ban books...now we're putting Israel in Africa...? Altering history and now geography...? What NEXT?

STOP. PLEASE STOP.

Deb ruins the show lately
yateball144 March 2019
Maybe this is just me, but Deb's character has just been more annoying than funny or entertaining for far too long, and this episode just took it to yet another level. All of Gallaghers tend to be selfish and she's no exception, but her selfishness is just far dumber than any of the rest and it reaches a point of unbearable in this one yet again.

Love the show, hate Deb's character, and it's hard to stand any more

This is becoming a AA Cult Show
dldavidson8822 July 2019
The parts of the episode not pushing the myth-pushing cult of AA were pretty good. The part where Carl beats up the robber was cathartic.

Sigh Internet antitheism. Every year it's as bad as the last. AA try to help people but davidson here he calls it a myth pushing cult presumably because they talk about ''God; whatever you conceive Him to be''. The more thei nternet anitheist call something a cult or a myth the more I think that these words are absolutely meaningless coming from them; anything they don't agree with seems to be a myth or a cult so they're not making anything else look bad, they make themselves look extreme. If these people are so much smarter than everybody else like they think they are then why do they not have the brains to figure this out? Well the guy called having children a selfish act of capitalism (fail to see how it's either of these things) so I guess ridiculous hyperbole is to be expected.
