Disappointing....

Warning: Spoilers
This movie has so many problems, it's impossible to count. The writing is awful, the acting is obviously ruined by bad directing and the comedy is totally missing. The early scenes of the movie just seems to go on so quickly it's difficult to understand and still be interested. The movie is also very unrealistic: the two women suddenly become friends after being enemies for two years simply because of an exercise routine and a cheating husband? They proceed to get drunk together at the end of the day and you can't ignore the cheesy line "drink now, talk later"? Also the best way to get your children back their scholarship is to use a prostitute to bribe an international representative? The acting is actually good if you ignore the disappointing dialogue and the forced "comic"scenes. All in all, the movie seems entirely pointless. We may never know what the movie is really about as it could sway to any direction. It could be about two mothers and their children, a cheating husband and his wife or even a young girl, her boyfriend and his video game. Nollywood needs to put more time in film production.

more like 'Moms at fight'

So good to see Funke Akindele in a different role than the usual Jenifa 😃 but seriously, Moms At War was more like Moms At Fight.

We didn't see the rage, strife, or intense conflict that comes with women at war. It was a fine attempt that just required a stronger push at the pre-production stage

DELICIOUS

---The kids, Bayo (Abayomi Alvin) and Amara (Adebukola Oladipupo), astonished us; they were so natural! They acted so babyishly despite being teenagers 😁

-After watching Moms At War, we knew for sure it was warning us about the danger of prejudices.

Ebere (Omoni Oboli) considered Olaide (Funke Akindele) to be a village woman who didn't deserve to live in her upscale neighborhood.

And that's what set everything off. Nonetheless, she just needed to take time to know her. How many times have we not behaved like Ebere towards other people?😔

BLAND

---Belonging to the comedy type, Moms At War was, unfortunately, not conceived with a hilarious feel. From the color grading, camera movements, dialogues, acting, art direction, costume design, to the directing, there was nothing done intentionally to amuse the audience.

The few comic segments appeared rather forced not having an organic humor

---We were more like spectators while watching the movie as it wasn't pulling us into the story.
