A nice journey.

I enjoyed this nice journey in Mauritius and Rodrigues: beautiful landscapes and nice encounters.

There are some ingteresting aspects of Mauritius: the tourism in Mauritius (Luc Billard and his submersible for observing morays and sea turtles, Rudy the submersible pilot, Rani Jhurry, the hotel supervisor and the invitation of guests to her house-the Indian culture-, Patrick Haberland and the green tourism-the kayaking among the the mangroves-), the cultural diversity of Mauritius (The Indian-Mauritian community-52 %of the total population-, Viday and her friends cooking Indian food near an Hindu temple, the Chinese-Mauritian community-Arthur Kwettien , the cook, Marie-Christine , the creole woman and her "table d'hôte-th promotion of the creole food-), the Ile aux Aigrettes, a coral island (the Albra giant tortoises, Sooraj Dwarika speaking about the disappearance to the Mauritian giant tortoises and the reintroduction of the Aldabra giant tortoises in this island, Harriet Clark, the ornithologist and the tropicbirds, Jean-Claude Sevathian speaking about the rescue of the primary forest), the Mauritian dugout ( Nelvi and th "Prince" dugout, the regattas, the shipwright Gervais Lamarque and the restoration of the dugouts, Christopher teaching to young people how to navigate a Mauritian dugout), the televsion and radio net of Mauritius ( the Radio One station- the French language for the news, and the creole language for the comments-, Nadeem and the Crazy TV-the comic sketchs and parodies in Creole language-) , the bus transport in Rodrigues ( the independent bus owners organized in cooperatives , Darris Ismael, the owner of the "Prince of Love", Cristella , the first female bus driver of Rodrigues, Prem, the painter of the Rodrigues buses)and the fishermen and farmers of Rivière Babane, Louisette, the squid fisher, Neddy, her son the farmer, the unique place wit awater source, the mutual aid between the neighbours).

I enjoyed the encounters of Sophie with Ludovic Tennant (the sea plane pilot) , with Krish Hardowar (the seven colours dunes, the walk in the mountain, the canyoning and the bivouac), with Carine Bouille (snorkeling among the dolphins and the clams, the musicians at the beach picnic), with Trouvan at New Grove (the Tamil celebration of walking on the fire), with Hillary Yeung (the Bato Constance shop and the ship models), with Françoise Baptiste in Rodrigues ( the guesthouse at the seaside and the great breakfast), with Alfred (the observing of the warbler, Rodrigues fody and fruit-bats) with the Rodrigues musicians and with Doris (the manager of the zip-line), very nice encounters with very knd Mauritian men and women.
