The wall is so absurd but also so epic, and this entire episode focuses on the uprising in the wall, well worth the slow build over the last 6 episodes. This show is at its peak here.

That was AMAZING

Absolute masterpiece of an episode. On the level of the Riclantis Mixup, if not better. Amazing payoff to all the buildup. If this show only existed for this one episode it would be worth it. Will rewatch many time! Well done Roiland and co.

Seriously, the story in this was fantastic and the emotions and suspense were all there. 10/10.
The bear stole the show

What an epic episode, this storyline needs to be continued in the next season. This concept could easily be its own show. Slow build up with the previous 6 episodes but masterfully executed with this one. Brilliant.
Masterpiece

The name says it all. They try to steal a bear. I made an account just to leave this review. I was absolutely blown away this episode was only 22 minutes long and not an entire hour. I hope to see more episodes like this in the future. Better than the main plot.

One of the best episodes of this series. Crazy that this whole story with the wall is just a C plot that doesn't do a whole lot with the alien family themselves but that doesn't stop it from being unique and awesome. This episode itself is right up there with the citadel episode of rick and morty when evil morty was revealed. Because this episode has the same suspense and great writing added to it.
Terrible

The wall storyline is a bit lack luster. It is entertaining, but takes away from the amazing show that is about 4 aliens and their pupa. The wall is bearable when sparsely interrupting the good parts, but when by itself the wall makes for an episode that is easily the worst.
Briliant

The BEST execution of Subplot writing... Could we see a possible spinoff in the future as a film or miniseries?

This is by far the best episode of the series. As a fan of Rick and Morty, I love to psycho-analyse the writing and see how it reflects upon our societal behaviours. This show does it perfectly, by using 'Aliens' posing as outside observers. It allows the viewer to self-evaluate how we as humans can really behave.
Whilst watching the series, I found myself investing in subplot of the 'Wall' eager to discover more. The build up throughout multiple episodes was beautifully paced with appropriate breaks adding suspense to a great storyline (that seemed to echo USA current political climate with the 'Duke' being a subtle nod to Trumps presidency in disguise).
A solid 9.5 / 10 in my opinion, next to PERFECT, it would have been nice if it was animated in an Anamorphic format to give it the cinematic feeling it so truly deserved. I look forward to seeing what next season brings.

This is the sort of episode that you rewatch over and over as you find new differences and go back in awe of how different and amazing this episode was from the rest of the season. I'm expecting this episode to be the legacy of this show unless they can figure out how to keep this up in the next season.
Emotional, High Depth, And an amazingly unexpected ending

That ending was chilling, clearly setting up their own evil Morty type character. By far the best episode of the series, You know their good at characters when the death of a mouse I knew for 13 minutes makes me cry.
This could be the best animated television show episode of all time

Just wow. This episode blew my mind. That has to be the most well thought out, well paced, suspenseful, emotional roller coaster I have ever been on watching an animated episode of a show. This show is proving to be fantastic and should be seen as a huge success if only for this episode.
Not that suprising

At first, I had the feeling, that this episode wants to make a parody of a typical blockbuster movie, but it didn't. It took itself completely serious. I felt like I knew everything that is going to happen in this episode, to the point I almost wanted to skip forward while watching it. I could list all of the things I would criticize in a Marvel movie and it would still fit.
It wasn't bad, but it certainly wasn't good. The only thing that was a bit surprising was the ending. I thought they are just going to kill all off the people in the wall, after they have successfully overthrown the duke, but they probably wanted to keep that side storyline.

Easily the best of the season

A B-Plot brought to the foreground
ianwagnerwatches17 May 2020
This is the culmination of the entire season, in my opinion. A beautiful episode, insightfully parodic and emotionally moving. This is the furtherment of Justin Roiland's absurd vision, in which his absurd ramblings become something bigger and more intriguing.
