Half baked like Ingrid's cakes

One of those episodes where you don't rely know what score to give. I see others giving high scores but I suspect many were watching this on a weekly basis 2 years after series 2 was screened whilst I watch it just days later so can see it isn't quite the show it has been.

There is generally a bit of a lull mid-season and this seems to be it.

There is little humour here with the Ingrid and Cinny show not appearing until near the end and, as fanciable as Jasper's lawyer is (Virgo like Ella leyers, why did she not replace her?), the humour is forced or perhaps lost in translation.

There is a moving scene at the end, nothing to do with the murder case which seems a bit dull but emotive.

Sakia and Inske are starting to warm but, if you are going to include same sex couples then why not tick all the PC boxes and have an ethnic minority on the force too?

Sorry just a 7 this time. They shouldn't have put Jasper in prison if they were intent on making this third series.

Looking forward to the court case.

Fails to land any punches

Warning: Spoilers
I don't recall any Professor T episode that featured the personal lives of the police, do you? If you CAN remember such an instance, was it at the very top of the show? This episode began with Saskia and Inske at what appears to be a birthing class . . . Certainly NOT the norm for the opening of a Professor T episode.

Sadly, the serious story of the misguided foster mother was a cautionary tale that few will be able to absorb because of all of the disjointed editing. Another important thread lost in this episode was the revelation that Christina has proven to be QUITE dishonest.

The screenwriter COMPLETELY dropped the ball by not segueing into how Christina's penchant for dishonesty ruined her relationship with Professor T.

Meanwhile, how about Professor T himself? In this episode T has ALSO adopted the tactic of dishonesty. He refused to publicly acknowledge Christina was waiting for her attacker with a gun: that's premeditation. And his failure to come forward and relay that information to the legal authorities was obstruction of justice (a felony). The rampant dishonesty is (at best) disheartening.

So much potential was wasted in this story, it's shameful. This Professor T episode can be likened to a prizefighter who enters the ring with lots of fanfare but then fails to land any punches.
