You have got to give a ten haven't you?!!
A big shout out to all of us that have watched the whole way through. We all deserve a pat on the back and I think this episode gave us deserved thanks.
Ok, there wasn't a lot of humour but a lot of emotion - even if the dance at the end was a bit mad.
Personally, I binge-watched it over 3 months. I had heard thee was a British version being made and thought I would check out chapter or two.
The first series started with shirt and compelling storylines and I just had to go on.
I thought it couldn't be the same without Annelies and it did lose its way in the prison chapters but the writer (I big shout out to Paul Piedfort too!) managed to turn things around.
It's like saying goodbye to an old friend How do I fill the void?
It is hard to find Belgian shows here in the UK without Netflix and some of them are quite old now as I write this in 2021.
I have looked for shows like over water, salamander, cordon and spitsbroers where I know all these friends have also lived but without luck.
I just hope the British version will be half as good as this. J was surprised how my school french and German helped me watch some of it without looking at the subtitles.
I see many of the negative reviews compared this to House and Monk of which I have not seen either so maybe I will try and find them and hope they are as good.
Farewell fellow students. I hope we meet again soon.
