This really has been shaping up as a very good season of Survivor. "Fluid" is the key word - a word that is thown around a lot at the tribal council; the terms David and Goliath hardly mean anything anymore; anybody can work with anybody, and everybody is in danger. The editing is so good that I had no clue who was going home between at least three different possibilities; when all was revealed it seemed to be a classic case of split votes, but it looked anything but simple beforehand. Theoretically, after this episode, the 4 remaining Goliaths could team up and pick off the 2 remaining Davids, but I doubt it. The fluidity and unpredictability of the season make up for the somewhat lackluster challenges (in this episode and others). And with no idols or advantages remaining in play (for the time being?), the game is totally up for grabs. ***1/2 out of 4.
