The Reagans suffer a family split in this one as young Tony Terraciano gets caught out drinking. Vanessa Ray and Will Estes handle it at the lad's request. But Donnie Wahlberg finds out and doesn't like it.

Wahlberg and Marissa Ramirez get a case involving someone attempting murder on a fertility doctor played by Robin Thomas. This doctor really believes in being fruitful and multiplying.

Tom Selleck has to deal with a wounded police officer who comes from a family not unlike his own. The son who is on the job has stayed away from and Selleck learns a sad truth why.

And the usually shrewd Steven Schirippa gets taken by a woman he met on line. It burns him because he's usually the shrewdest guy around. We males all occasionally think with the male member. Breanna Racino Ferrara is enough to have any red blooded heterosexual males thoughts drift south.

I liked all the stories in this episode.

Frank does something positive for an on-screen officer that will NOT positively affect the NYPD directly (and it's a push if indirectly, but that could be due to family ties as much as this, blah blah blah), an officer who doesn't have the fire in the belly to be where he is just as sure as if he were Jamie Reagan-alas he's from another "NYPD legacy family" who is in the middle of hard luck with the current patriarchal figure having just been paralyzed from the waist down. Long story long, behind the scene, the son, a beat cop of 4+ yrs w/ an EXEMPLARY record both internally & in regards to the public, let's Frank know this ain't his flavor of donuts. He has a masters in urban planning, so Frank eventually sits them down, pulls the old truck of "apologizing via asking a favor of them" NOTE: I have seen work, however, here in the south, it generally requires many, many buttons on one's shirt before one even THINKS about attempting to pull off such shirts as this!! And that shirt better have a white collar-or at least started with one that morning!

So Frank pulls off the look here at this ace of spades while he steals both of their watches.

Transcendental meditation is part in parcel to what creates the vacuum, it sucks everyone in and the next thing you know change is missing off your dresser and your daughter's knocked up. I've seen it a million times.

Both donnie wahlberg and tom selleck have acted like the prime asses they really are from the onset of this series ... however the rest of the cast seems to gel except the occasional snide remark by vanessa ray and will estes ... still wondering why no one has put a sock in sami gayle's mouth who is far too outspoken.
