I don't know, I just love this show

Warning: Spoilers
Since season 1 came out I always watched all episodes in a row. I just can't stop watching, because I love the characters so much I wanna know what will happen w them. The show touches me in a way that I can't explain, but it makes me so emocional, I cried so many times through the season, I feel the pain of the characters, their anxious, their rage. I want everything works right with them, and when it don't it tears me apart.

This wasn't exactly a review, but here I am at 5h30am, after almost 6 hours in front of my TV, trying do deal with the fact that I don't know when I will watch these characters that I love again (assuming Netflix won't cancel it). But it's such an important show for me I had to share it somewhere.

It is a brilliant finale to a vulnerable, moving season, please don't cancel this show, IM BEGGING

I really loved to see Sam's evolution in general and how he has gotten better at expressing love to the people closest to him. Also the relationship progress between Doug and Elsa, And the struggle of Cassie and Izzy's relationship

you shouldn't be wasting any more time, go on and binge-watch all of 'Atypical' especially Season 3. And start pining for Season 4 like me.

Atypical season 3.

When I first watched season 1 back in 2017, I thought- Great! This looks like a half decent watch, a series to fill time in between waiting for other shows to come back.

2 years later in my own life, a lot of things have happened to myself- lost jobs, a girlfriend and other things. This show has become essential watching for me now, it's almost like a therapy.

Yes it's fluff but it's a show with real heart and for me the laughs are just an extra bonus.

The family is growing and genuine development is happening. This isn't just the fluff and "TV filler" I saw it as back in 17.

Well done to everyone involved. You have created something that makes me feel good.

And it was totally worth it. The show keeps getting better and better by every season. One of the best from netflix. And it makes you love yourself and the people around you.

Another positive point: This show is the first from netflix that i see actors and actresses who aren't the typical Hollywood teenagers characters. The guys doesn't have a six pack. The girls have normal bodies for their age. And this time when you have a show like this and it is good that is rare to see.

Good, but one part...

The episode as a whole was amazing, actually every episode was amazing. I watched the first two seasons in two days and when season three came out, I watched all of season three that day. The only problem I had was when Sam reunites with Zhahid in that batting cage. The producers and editors could've done a better job of making that realistic. The idea there wasn't realistic. That is a very small flaw, and other people might not even think its a flaw, but I do. It's not even worth taking a star out. This show and this episode gets a 10/10 for sure

Ok so I really don't like how y'all handled this I don't like izzie's character, Casey is so smart and would never hurt Evan and somehow she did at least she could've told him the truth before kissing her she had so many chances izzie was pushing her to get rid of Evan and was doing all these moves but when Casey got rid of Evan izzie started to be like "No ?" and kissed a guy WTF honestly you just made me dislike her more lmfao and it feels kinda forced like you wanted a gay couple but it's alright also y'all better not get rid of Evan in season 4 his acting is phenomenal most of the actors actually are pretty good but I really loved his acting and the actress that plays Casey AT least make him her best friend or something like that just don't get rid of his character please

Great season as a whole, but not an Izzy/Casey fan

Loved almost every aspect of this season, except I thought it focused almost too much on the "Comedic" aspect of the show, rather than the dramatic . College was a big step for Sam and I thought except for a few moments with his art professor I think there was more they could have done to show the big transition for him. Instead, again, they chose to focus on the humorous aspects. Don't get me wrong I love the comedy, I just am also here for the drama as well.

Now onto Casey. I'm glad she was truly torn over what to do with her feelings for both Evan and Izzie. But I have to say with all of Izzy's choices throughout this season, especially in essence cheating on her after Casey made one of the toughest choices she will ever have to make in her life breaking up with Evan, her first true love! Yeah, NOT an Izzy fan. But I'm glad Casey told Evan when she did and didn't let the cheating continue like Elsa did, or else she would have gone from my favorite character to least favorite just like that. Again, probably controversial here because most reviews tend to ship Izzie and Casey, I just don't like Izzie one bit.

Series 3 of Atypical is as hilarious and moving as the first 2. It has a special place in my heart as a show about a guy with Asperger's - I share a lot of his tendencies. Absolutely would recommend; gave it a round of applause as the credits rolled.

The season finale was almost too perfect, but after a turbulent season, I'm very much here for it all.

Not a fan of Casey and Izzie
domingojrodriguez5 February 2021
The show is great but I didn't like how they strayed away from Evan. He's too good to be dealt the hand he got dealt with. Plus Casey's character development went downhill with Izzie. Or maybe I'm just an Evan fan lol

Meh
danielernst7 November 2019
Kind of an underwhelming season in my honest opinion, too much focus on comedy. Definitely used to see this show as more of a drama with comedic moments here and there where as this season almost felt like something you'd see Sunday nights on ABC. Definitely a couple great moments but as a whole just not too impressed
