lame
lifelinespublishing14 April 2020
The movie is lame., there were not enough blood and gore., the movie was too slow and the acting was really not that good to put it lightly., the ending was fair and expected. I guess the actor who really portrayed the serial killer really is a nice guy in real life., he could not give justice to his role.

Overall, a must avoid...

She's a beautiful monster

Warning: Spoilers
Nathan (Lewis Kirk ) is our killer. He eats young women, tans their hides and feeds the remain to the reptile cage in the basement. Eva (Noeleen Comiskey ) is former junkie investigating the crimes and is his lover. The story is told as a flashback from prison.

The film didn't excite me. Not graphic in any killing or slicing.

Guide; F-word. No sex or nudity

Boring

It's meant to be cool, that's why the guy listens to cool music while cool dancing but is all so forced and unnatural.

Worst movie I have ever seen, pure garbage!
psxexperten16 April 2020
This has to be one of the worst movies I have seen in many years, and there are a lot of stinkers out there. It is truly unbelievable how this movie managed to get released. Save yourself some time and do not watch this crap.

Decent thriller
Woodyanders19 January 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Undercover cop Eva (a solid performance by Noleen Comiskey) checks out local tattoo parlors in order to find and catch a serial killer who tattoos and skins his victims. Eva meets and falls for tattooist Nathan (a charming portrayal by Lewis Kirk), who unbeknownst to Eva is the psycho she's looking for.

While director Terry Lee Coker delivers a few fairly creepy moments and offers some neat bits of gore (turns out Nathan is a cannibal who eats his victims), he alas lets the familiar story unfold at a painfully plodding pace and fails to generate much in the way of any essential tension. Moreover, the annoying score proves to be more obtrusive than effective. Fortunately, the good acting from the two leads keeps this tepid movie watchable. An okay diversion.

Confused

Warning: Spoilers
There are plot lines that are irrelevant to the plot. Why does Eva need to pretend to be Russian?? The retrospective telling of the story from the main character adds nothing. The main story had some good themes, just needed tidying up. The production quality is better than some of Terry Cokers previous work.

A cut above your usual independent horror
singhlall19 August 2020
A slow burn that builds to a crescendo. Some twists and turns throughout. Pretty well done throughout with decent production values and performances. Some gore and implied violence.

A low budget Brit thriller that is high on ambition
simon-cluett12 April 2021
This is a cut above the usual low budget crime thriller, aspiring more to Silence of the Lambs territory. Although not entirely successful, and the ending doesn't quite work, it deserves a look on account of its vision and ambition.
