Vikings (2013)
Dry out, no more juice
It's getting worse and worse with every season and episode. Two first seasons were enjoyable but it seems they are running out of ideas and scenes and scripts are so run of the mill that you forget you're watching Vikings, it could be any other mediocre show. Floky is the only interesting character all along.
Raised by Wolves (2020)
What happened Ridley.... ???
...what have you done? what non sense is this?. Consider early retirement. Huge dissapointment.
Gangs of London (2020)
Violence competition
Lovely city, isn't it?. Nice and cozy. Welcomes you with open arms, severed ones, lots of interesting places to visit if you still have your legs on and sightseeing if your eyes hadn't been scoop out yet.
I love this city but not the extreme violence here shown.
Babyteeth (2019)
Yeah, I cried...so what!!!
In my defense I have to say is the director's fault. She presents you with normal characters you could find in your neighbourhood, whom, as the films develops you start to like and understand their personal conflicts and stories. Well pace and astonishing acting.
The Old Guard (2020)
Yet another violent empty film
No seriously uttered short sentences can justify all this rubbish.
Skinned (2020)
Boring
It's meant to be cool, that's why the guy listens to cool music while cool dancing but is all so forced and unnatural.
Fauda (2015)
Outstanding series
Seasons 1 & 2 are exceptionally good. Good plot, fantastic acting and, I guess, very realistic. Always looking for some free time to continue watching a couple episodes more.
Abominable (2020)
Abominable...
..it is. Horrific sound and some useless background music which maybe it's supposed to tell you when to feel scared.
The Sinner (2017)
From Good to Boring
This third season is kind of boring, going on and on about somebody's life doubts without much development. All episodes seem the same, it's a shame cause the first season was great, second one a bit less though. The very last five minutes called my attention.
El hoyo (2019)
Spanish surprise
It´s well above average spanish films. Entertaining, not totally original in its content but well edited. As this kind of films ends leaving you with the feeling you missed something relevant to understand it completely.
The Hunt (2020)
What´s the purpose here...
...entertaining ?, sorry didn´t get it, more like disgusting
Territorial Behavior (2015)
Nice talking..
A guy talking through the whole film to create the tense atmosphere but he becomes a bit unbearable. All mystery is solved at the very end with two pictures.
The Grudge (2019)
A bad copy
It has nothing to do with original, it lacks interest, acting and not thrill in any of the supposedly scary scenes.
Manhunt (2023)
I´m being generous
Worst acting ever, you can almost here the voice..."and action"..
The Assent (2019)
the best part....
....the end, it really is. That is what I enjoy most.
I See You (2019)
Interesting style
Unconventional, thrilling and well elaborated. The music does a lot to keep you in an alert state.
Dark Light (2019)
Save your time
It´s not one of the worst I´ve seen but I couldn´t wait to get to the end. All predictable and lacking interest. The one you should see is I See You. Unconventional, thrilling and well elaborated.
Rambo: Last Blood (2019)
Unnecessary, unjustified violence
It´s more of a carnage than anything else,... blood, heads, half bodies, blown to pieces ..No entertainment at all. Poor in every sense.
Travis (2016)
Budget´s fault
This was bound to happen, with economic crisis in full swing you can get better costumes ( these were from a local shop) neither actors whose expressions and forced acting don't help to improve an horrendous story.
Attrition (2018)
And this is the guy who dared J.C. Van Damme
His martial arts expertise is to kick when the director says "action" and then some impressive soft and calm movements like a real master. There is a scene filmed from above where you can clearly see is not him, even has a different haircut.
Sorry I could not rate it lower.
The Hitman's Bodyguard (2017)
Unnecessary
Besides usual topics of this commercial films, it has lots of scenes which show extreme violence, like the scene at the bar where Darius meets Sonia, she slashes throats and that's appealing to him. At some point they use the lamp-shading trick about good and bad to justify all we have seen.
