Story and character driven
markq-7565414 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was great, it shows all our characters three months later. We see Hawk And Dove done with being heroes and living together happy. Kory and Donna working together, and the team at titans tower training. Then we get Rose Wilson daughter of Slade Wilson. She is on the run and Dick wants to help. Meanwhile Dr.Light was broken out prison, obviously by Deathstroke. Then Dr.Light sets up traps to kill Dick, Hawk and Dove. So now the original titans will have to come back together to figure out what's going on. We also see Jason and Garth figure out who Rose is.

Also get to see Dove take out some drug markers. We also see Kory get taken by a male Tamaranean. Which is a side plot leading to her planets and her evil sister Black Fire. We also see Raven have a nightmare with her magic gets around her. She wakes up with scratches on her back. Possibly Trigon inside her, showing us he's not completely gone and will return.

We also see Dick talk to Bruce about taking in people who need help but don't want it. Dick them asks if Bruce would take him in again knowing he'll just leave Bruce. Bruce said he'd do it all the same way. This shows us some relationship building between the two characters.

We also Jason mention Aqualad and Donna get intel from Roy Harper and he them calls her.

So much great things in this episode, character interactions, development setting up what's to come with also some interesting side stories. And mention of other characters yet to be seen. Solid episode.

Makes you forget about episode 1 quick

Decent character dialogue and development and an overall solid episode.

For me, Hawk and Dove steal the show once again - they are just perfect and I think have good chemistry in their scenes. They just click.

Lots of sub plots introduced in this episode, which I like gives the show and characters more depth.

Too much to comment on. Rose, Donna & Kori, the "sorry Princess" comment, Roy Harper. All good stuff.

Thanks for making up for a poor start to this season, makes me forget about how awful the first episode was. You made up for it big time.

First episode was a bit disappointment as it doesn't belongs to season 2, but episode 2 covered up everything and increased the hype of Deathsrtoke inside me. I really love the character Development and its being really interesting as some old enemies are coming back to do bang, it'll be so fun to see what happens next........E2 is worth watching 🔥🔥🔥🔥

This is where Season 2 Begins!
giannisboublis13 September 2019
The episode was so good and probably my favorite episode in the series behind "Together" from Season 1. The bonds between the Titans and the new player Rose look to have great chemistry together and the villain looks really promising, his powers are really freaking cool visually 👏🏻 This season is going to be an amazing ride! Let's go Titans!

Something is missing....

It's great to see Titans again, but, speaking of storytelling, for me it seems to be lacking something. In general, dialogues are expositive and lame. Characteres seems to be bidimensional. There's room for a improvement, let's see where this show will go.

Swimming through treacle, again.
rudicantfail2 December 2021
Season two and it is as dull as the ending of season one, it is just not that interesting. I get the feeling that I am watching this just to "pass the time", it is as dull as dish water. I am clinging on to. The hope that something interesting happens. I am sure that many people out there will like this series, but for me it is just hard work.

Come on

Just dub someone else's voice over Ian Glenn's dialogue, then it would be perfect instead of seven stars.

Well acted with great character development, the true season premiere
Holt34414 September 2019
This is the premiere we wanted, lots of character development with all the members of the Titans. Hank and Dawn develops the most in this episode and seeing their chemistry together is just great and their scenes together if it's fight scenes or just pure drama they nail it. The writing and dialogue were also one of the highlights, with the character's knowing each other a lot more makes it more natural in terms of the dialogue which is a great thing to see as it was a bit rough at times in the first season. There weren't a lot of fight sequences but the ones we got were amazing, not as brutal but as good.

The episode moves in a much a slower way than the previous way but that means more character development and it was the right thing as now we get to see the new storyline they're creating, make progress with the new Metahuman that Grayson stumble across and the story evolves there on that subject whilst also giving us the point of view of Hank and Dawn and the final pov being Kory and Donna. We also gets a name drop, Roy Harper which really got me hyped. I strongly believe he will make a debut in season 3 but who knows, it's a great character but for now we will soon get to see Aqualad and a lot of their characters. Overall a great episode!

Stay focused
born_naughty29 February 2024
Season one was pretty, pretty, pretty, pretty good.

Season two is off to a rocky start. Episode one was decent but should have been the final of season one.

This show keeps introducing us to new characters even though there's still a lot we could learn about the existing ones. Don't get me wrong, there was still some decent character development in this episode but they're starting to run the risk of deluding what they have.

It kind of reminds me of how the show "Heroes" went. Season one was great a great introduction to the cast and instead of using that to tell a strong story going forward they kept introducing new elements. I hope the next few episodes can find some focus because it's starting to go all over the place.

Yeah Look a Good Episode
gostuffawesome14 September 2019
I think Titans season 1 is painfully average and confusing and stupid and so is the first episode of this season but than this one is good, coloring grading isn't just cutting from blue to blue to blue it has different colors and the acting and characters are better and even the cgi is better so just skip season 1 and the first episode of season 2 and just watch this onward

Warning: Spoilers
Big improvement from season 1 from acting to story telling, however, cgi needs little bit of work.

+acting and characters +flow of episode. +story telling +shimmer and Dr Light.

-CGI -lack of deathstroke

The true start to the series
ha77y73ad9721 September 2019
Warning: Spoilers
This would have been such a joy to watch as the true start of season 2, product value has risen greatly and just the visable age difference in the younger members of the team.

Great to see the action scenes have kept there high quality with training and true fighting happening.

Dr Light being such an unknown villain coming to the forefront of what i think will be the first half of the series to then hand over to Deathstroke for the season finale with the revel that the lastest person to enter Titans tower is Deathstrokes daughter. Was obvious little twist but thought it still works to get the series moving to the latest storyline.

All i can say that im ready for the rest of the series and what to finally see Dick Grayson in a live action nightwing suit. Which i would have thought will be the mid season break
