A weird crippled little boy is interviewed by a child psychologist who's trying to understand the mystery of his macabre drawings of a creepy clown and a teddy bear and why he may have gruesomely killed his own mother, but unfortunately for the staff at the place his situation is not what it seems... This short is well done but I think it needed a bit more of something to its plot, it's played totally straight but I still think I could detect a little dark humour in some of the scenes. The best part is the tension that rises as you wonder what's going to happen next, until his unseen lethal protectors go on the attack! It's a pretty cool idea for a horror short and I like the way you don't know if the kid himself is doing it somehow or if his 'frIends' are separate entities from him altogether. It has a very bright and vivid look to it that contrasted nicely with the pretty brutal gory attack on the poor psychologist who really should have given the boy what he wanted! I thought the child actor did a great job and he was a real little natural in front of the camera, he gives a stronger impression than everyone else in the short. I liked the way he played it, like he was innocent yet there was a hint at the end that he may have been a real mini megalomaniac who wanted everything his own way and when push came to shove wasn't too fussed who his two monstrous buddies slaughtered that got on his bad side! Fun and well directed horror short, I wouldn't mind seeing this ides expanded on and used in a full movie, entertaining and worth a watch. 🐻 💀 🤡

A familiar theme and wise science to use it. A bear and a clown. A boy and his drawings. A psychiatrist and his protectors. The film has many virtues. The lead - a splendid exploration of childhood universe, using dark tools, starting from two familiar characters , proposing new sketches of traits for each of theme. The performance of young lead actor reminds Macaulay Culkin in his early ages but the precise performance remains a splendid vvirtue of short film. The fascination more than thrill is the gift of this remarkable horror.
