The concept of justice and vigilantism has been explored a lot throughout comic book media especially in these Marvel Netflix shows. Yet there is something so fresh and engaging about how it has been handled this season. Seeing the tough choices all the characters have made, the consequences of those choices and the regrets that follow, the writers have managed to craft a raw and gripping sequence of events that have all led to a series finale where every decision has come to the forefront and no character is in a good place.

Violence Realized

Trish/Patsy has become the most dangerous person on the earth. As Jessica tries to create a situation where Sallinger can pay the price for his actions (in a court of law and in prison), but her sister is left to her own devices in the end and now what will happen? Jessica is looking forward to seeing Sallinger having to explain himself as she walks through the courthouse. Knowing this is the end of the series, Episode 13 should prove to be either exciting and enlightening or a total failure.
Episode 312

Warning: Spoilers
The Sallinger story has not worked, as I pointed out in numerous reviews, but it doesn't even feel like he is getting a real wrap up either.
It was a solid episode, but we need an incredible finale to make up for an inconsistent season.

What means to be a hero vs a villain

This season did a phenomenal job developing characters, Trish's development is amazing, how she sees herself and what is her vision of justice, in contrast of what Jessica sees, the duality between what's the right decision to make.

Drama and conflict

A pretty good penultimate episode, at least by the standards of this show; standard elsewhere, I guess. The early lift set-piece harks back to TERMINATOR 2 in an entertaining way, and the drama and conflict are in steady supply.
