An Okay Start To A Potentially Good Season
taeshawnbrowntb28 January 2020
This episode was great for me. It was a major improvement from Season 4, but it still not at Season 2 or 3. It felt a bit a silly in the beginning then gets better along the way. In the end we had a great fight scene, FINALLY Nate used his powers. Also, I am glad Mona left she didn't fit in with the team. We also need to see more of Charlie, she has great potential. They need to stop putting her to the sideline and only making a character who drinks and parties. She came from HELL, she needs more depth. If the writers focus more on the serious side than silly side, for the rest of the season, this season could actually be really good.

Who the hell is Behrad and where is Zari?!!
seanreilly8323 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
So I know there was a huge timeline debocable having to do with the crisis since I watch all of the other shows except for Supergirl but where did this new guy Behrad come from? I've never seen him before (unless I just don't remember meeting him since the hiatus was so long) but I think they are just replacing Zari with him, which isn't cool. Especially since she and Nate were developing a relationship, which is an arc that I was invested in. I'm all about rotating the cast but Zari was growing on me and to replace her with some new guy without any explanation is an insult to the viewers. Don't get me wrong, I like Behrad so far and the stash box line was funny but please explain who the hell he is!

So stupid that it's funny
sgr81825 January 2020
Legends started a downward spiral when it started moving away from the style show of Flash, Arrow and Supergirl and became more comic relief. Instead of continuing on this path, it looks like they have embraced the stupid comedy and pushed for over the top that is so stupid it's hilarious. This is my favorite Legends episode in years.

One Hell of an Episode
tindalllisa22 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
What I most admire about LoT is their Daring and Creativity. The way they thumb their nose at convention. The Best part about it is the cast, and how the writers are able to set up a pitch for them to knock out of the park. Michael Eklund's Rasputin was inspired casting. Kudos for that snag. He brought a Taika Waititi vibe. Mick Rory is my Dude! But the conquering heroes of the day, the MVP's, were Sara & Ava. #Avalance Caity and Jes having fun makes me have fun. The fight scene-to-an-interrupted kiss was great. Then the REAL kiss later, with the faint and thumbs up was EPIC! Highest Points awarded.

Blind Wave in Legends?!
felixbambam26 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This has got to be the greatest crossover event in history! As we, the fans, are now officially apart of this ever-growing enormity known as the Arrowverse. I can't believe Blind Wave and Lord Mesa were in this episode! Truly amazing. Well done guys :)

GREAT
rebsantos31 January 2020
It was really funny to watch this episode. It dealt well with the post crisis events, Sarah's and Ava relationship and the team dynamics. I loved the idea of a fake documentary.

BRILLIANT!
michalpietras22 January 2020
This show gets better and better with every season. The writers know their audience. That's why it's called the best super hero show of the decade.

Best Show
Justreviewing25 February 2020
Legends is the one show that is doing it right out of all the CW shows. Their fun, emotional and all their characters get screen time.

Post Crossover letdown
markm-0077522 January 2020
Having watched the legends since day 1, this entire mockumentary was ridiculous. The whole point that they were all assembled was because they were nobodies, but now they are superstars and it was an annoying episode. The only thing more annoying was the 500th crossover joke (funny the 1st 200 times maybe, but now just a groan). This is just lazy writing. Rasputin wasn't even interesting as a story, especially the expected screw up by the Legends. The only reason this wasn't a 1 or 2 star episode was the last 10 minutes. The final fight with the way they won was funny, and gross all at once, but a highlight. Also, once Nate realizes someone is missing became interesting also. Finally, for a team that is supposed to "fix" time, they sure dont seem worried to cause the problems themselves. How is time supposed to explain the actions of the heroes in 1917 Russia or even a TV crew? They were witnessed in full Hero mode, powers and suits, etc. Plus, how to explain how Rasputin finally died? Just a huge letdown airing right after a great episode of Arrow. (And please... no more crossover jokes).

Love this Series
GoldenGooner0411 August 2020
Ray, who we know was Superman in a another lifetime, is superb as he was as Superman, nearest thing to Chris Reeve as there could be. and after watching this as Mick is one of my favourite characters, I watched Prison Break, but still prefer him in this, has great comedy timing and the episodes with "his brother" were superb.

What happened to this show?
xurian22 January 2020
I loved this show at one point, but it has seriously gone off the rails. I actually stopped watching it mid-last season, but forgot that I had stopped watching. So, I watched this one when my DVR recorded it out of habit. The whole thing doesn't even make sense anymore. It used to simply be the superhero show that had a little more light-heartedness to it, letting you have some fun with historical events. Now, it's nothing BUT a farce and bad puns. (And I love puns). What happened to the rules and trying to correct history without messing it up further? I mean, walking around IN history with a camera crew and talking with modern slang to the historical figures while on a reality documentary? We've gone beyond the point of silly to just being bad. It's a real shame because I love my superhero shows, and this is the third one I've had to give up on because the writers forgot that these were superhero shows and keep trying to force them into some other category that just doesn't work.

It's so funny but not in a good way
srbin0322 January 2020
OMG, i was so not ready for this. This show become 100% parody. At first, it was good mix of comedy and drama but now it's garbage. I can't stand it. It's so bad.

That was...average
garabedian1235 February 2020
This episode had some really funny parts and some really bad parts. New wind character is boring af but provides a mystery as to who he is...We just don't care though. Boring reality show style...almost not watchable. Sara's robot girlfriend...is she a robot now? She is stiffer than last season.

And Blood and Gore holy crap. That's one way to kill someone..Pretty worth it just for this one shot....

But...but...Doesnt a show...need..Idk a story? No aftermath of the Crisis..just some random nonsense

What were they thinking? *sigh*
grimdan-71-5309025 January 2020
LoT is my fav show of the Arrowverse and i'm constantly worried about it being cancelled, due to it's small fanbase. After being kicked off the previous crossover I was worried for LoT, but then being added to this years crossover and hosting the finale episode no less, I was excited about their attempt to reinvigorate the Legends! Then to follow up Crisis with this garbage, mockumentry style, filler episode really put the nails in the coffin for any Arrowverse fans that were willing to jump back on the Legends bandwagon. Let's face it! If this is the kind of thing the showrunners think is a good idea, RIP Legends, you were fun while it lasted.

Horrible, just horrible.
prof_x722 January 2020
It seems like this show has just given up. The characters are becoming more moronic every season. Incredibly weak. Could hardly watch the episode. Wanted to turn it off after about 3 minutes.

It was meh
werasobczak10 May 2021
This was a mess, it's weird to watch... but at this point nothing is out of place in this show so never mind the weirdness of it, I just didn't like it much. Side note, it's even weirder when you read the comic books, coz' I'm pretty sure Rasputin was Vandal Savage in one of the comic timelines (not like arrow-verse gives a damn about the comic books but still)

It's not even a good parody...
fredwmeyer224 January 2020
This show is now just a parody of itself. If the writers don't take it seriously how can the audience?

Ugh...

A worrying season premiere.
EddyTheMartian00722 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
Honestly this episode has me worried for the season. It's too silly, and the Legends seem like actual fools. They keep making the characters dumber for comedy, and focusing too much on the silliness. It's really unfortunate, because seasons 2 and 3 really balances those aspects well, and those seasons were really good. Season 4 is a clear example of what could go wrong, and this seems like it's going further. This episode wasn't bad, but it I had a lot of problems with it. They clearly didn't know how to do the mockumentary style well as it they kept going back and forth from the actual documentary style, and it's normal style. There's a whole segment where the Legends end up talking about a bunch of plot holes in the episode. That does NOT excuse the plot holes. Honestly it might get to parody levels of itself soon. It isn't all bad though. I enjoyed some of the characters interactions, especially with Sara dealing with Crisis. There were still some good comedic moments, and a few cool moments too. Ray enlarging inside someone was something I was hoping to see for a while. Rasputin while not making complete sense, and being a bit too silly, was still fun. I'm annoyed Mona is still part of the team, but I'm also glad the Time Bureau is gone. I really did like Behrad though. He was a pleasant surprise. I know he's probably going to be replaced soon by Zari, but I hope to see him stay longer, he fits right in. However Constantine might be leaving?! I would be so disappointed. Overall I thought this episode was okay, but I'm not liking the direction the show is taking.

This show is so lost
magnum-ajt22 January 2020
It used to be an enjoyable show to watch with Rip. It's devolved into a parody with no direction. Save Constantine and give him own show back, dump the rest of the unfunny silliness.

So Bad

This episode was crap. I have never hated an episode of Legends before but, it was the worst. I just was really mad at the whole thing. I wanted it to end so badly.

This Isn't The Legends
TheStormBolt22 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
This show has become too silly, and as a result I can't take anything seriously anymore. Deaths won't be a thing anymore. This is as campy as Batman 1966 now.

Also, I don't like how Nate speaks so down at all the crossovers. It's like he thinks he's too good for it, but if he's gonna dis on the other heroes I'm not going to support his character. And another thing, I don't like how disrespectful Ava is towards Oliver. I understand she never met him, but the man died and was a big part of Sara's life. I expected better.

Seriously?
joeprijsman23 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I loved this show for a while, and this season premiere really really annoyed me. Season 3 was amazing and I loved every bit of it, then season 4 came along and it was acceptable, but this season 5 premiere was the worst. Nothing makes sense anymore and I couldn't follow the story at all. The mockumentary aspect also wasn't funny to me and it was a complete mess where it felt like actors went completely out of character for the whole episode. I'm kind of missed off cause this used to be one of my favorite shows, and this is a worrying sign for the rest of the season. I hope they get back on track soon.

This Episode Was So Bad...
Michael-RGV22 January 2020
Yeah, they were getting a bit outside the box last season, but there were still some pretty good scenes last year.

This episode was idiotic! Inviting the press along to a trip down the timeline and framing the episode like it was a TV documentary. I have never been a fan of this format in other TV shows ether. I didn't find the plot the least bit funny or exciting.

I love the DC Legends because I enjoy stories about time travel. I can take bending the rules a little, but this literally broke and destroyed any semblance of reality.

What did I just watch.
jamiekressinger24 January 2020
Legends has got continuously worse from the start. I didn't mind a little lighter humour, every now and then. But this episode was just pathetic. What do they think are the viewers ages 5 and under? Let's get it back on track before it gets cancelled please.
