SOUNDTRAACKS PEOPLEEE!
MohaammedHassan17 January 2020
I guess the best thing about netflix shows beside everything else is the soundtracks. whoever chooses them should get a damn raise. lol.

I really like all this building up but i think we have more love triangles than we should.

the arc of the sexual assault was just on point and touches a vulnerable, old, disturbing, realistic topic that needs a whole show not just an arc in an episode.

Solid episode

Warning: Spoilers
First time that we get a deeper look into Aimee - whom I thought was just a bimbo character (most likely intended to be portrayed in that manner). Love how the show chooses to spend some time on even seemingly minor characters and give them depth.

Likewise with Adam. We see his love triangle developing (I count a total of 4 love triangles within this show) - though it's not exactly clear on how he feels about Eric yet.

I have something important to say... ...I don't like Goldfish
zomgzomg4 April 2020
This season has been pretty good so far but the script writers keep throwing in this lazy trope where one character has something difficult to say to another character, and when they are about to say it, say something else to hide their true feelings. It's not something that happens in real life, it's a lazy writing technique to create fake tension without any immediate pay off. I would let one instance of this slide every now and then, but it has happened 3 or 4 times over the last two episodes....

Established and Intriguing Conflicts
Oktay_Tuna17 January 2020
Warning: Spoilers
I feel like we can easily call these first three episodes exposition. Otis is dating Ola and kinda likes Maeve and it is hinted that he will need to choose his path. Eric also has the same conflict but a more obvious one. He likes Adam and Rahim and he will need to choose to. Jackon and Aimee's storiesI find the most interesting. I didn't care about them in the first season but now they are my favorite characters. Aimee's problem with bus is interesting and promising for the future episodes and Jackson trying to decide who he is going to be is fabulous. Maeve is kind of a side character in this season and doesn't have anything to do on the screen other than being there for Aimee and loving Otis. Maeve and her mom situation will probably turn out the same as her brother. In other words, the side characters in the first season became more interesting while the main characters became more boring except for Eric(thanks to Ncuti Gatwa). Still 5 more to go and I have higher expectations now.

Meave and Otis should end up together
aboalhyjaa19 January 2020
From the begging of season 1 i always said that they maybe would be the best couple in Netflix. And i really would like to see them together 1 episode at least.

Effective

A unique episode. I really enjoyed. I loved the story. It was really interesting and impressive. The relationship between Otis and Ola is really catastrophic and I do not like it. The relationship between Otis and Maive looks better.
