Family is more than blood

I honestly don't understand why this show gets so many negative reviews and comments, admittedly most are calling out the procedural failings, which, if this was a training video, would be apt, but come on - it's an entertaining tv show and if watched that way is a whole lot of fun.

This episode was all about loyalty and trust. We learn a bit more about Hondo and why he left the forces to join LAPD.

There are some touching moments for Chris as she deals with loss and are the cracks beginning to show in her relationship(s)?

There is a test of integrity handed to Deacon that for a while leaves us wondering how honest and pious is this desperate husband and father and the resolution really shows that this show, when dealing with family and choices, really comes into its own.

I sincerely hope this gets renewed as there are so many untold stories to get from these guys.

Marines do not wear utilities off base.

Marines are not permitted to wear utility uniforms "out in public". The tech advisor should have known this.

Another big episode that has the wow factor

Warning: Spoilers
I loved the intensity, action and pace of this episode. There are not enough shows like this on tv any more. Shemar is brilliant and leads an outstanding cast.

After re-watching To Sir With Love last night, it does amaze me how so few leading men of colour are given opportunities to showcase their talent. I'm glad this is one show that does.

When the big gun came out to shoot the bus, it was an 'Oh my!' moment. I think that's what I like about S. W. O. T. It can be so over the top but that's what I want. It doesn't apologise or shy away from difficult issues which is also what makes it exceptional. The characters are consistent and audiences become invested in their stories.

Thankfully the money problems situation is seemingly resolved. Jay's character is one of my favourites and the direction he was taking was not one that I wanted to continue as it was hard to see how he could remain otherwise.

I was a fan of The Shield and thrilled that Shawn Ryan has created S. W. O. T.

So predictable it's amazing

You could watch this show and literally know how every situation ends. Also, a woman who is so Muslim she veils at a police station would never own a dog in their home! I mean, maybe but no.

Fiction

Time to get a new Director (Billy Gierhart), Writers (Robert Hamner, Rick Husky, etc.)

Light Antitank Weapon (L.A.W.) uses a directional shaped charge warhead, to make use of every ounce of explosives to penetrate light armored vehicles, there is no large explosion, just a small hole created by a plasma jet thru armor and or metal. If you want a large explosion then you use an RPG-7 as designed as Anti Tank (Shaped Charge) and Anti Personnel (Fragmentation).

After you arm the Light Antitank weapon (pull the small switch on top) and fire, there is a large explosion out of the rear of the launcher of the charge that throws "kicks" the rocket feet out of the launcher away from the person firing, then the rocket motor ignites, standing near the rear of the launcher you will get 3rd Degree burns, this is why we NEVER use Light Antitank Weapons, AT4s, RPG-7s, SA-7s FIM-92s, if we are firing from an enclose space like a room firing out a window and instead use grenade launchers with dual purpose (light antitank, and anti personnel).

Investigations in accordance with U.S. Department Of Defense (U.S. DOD) Directives translated into each Branch of Services Regulations and part of the Uniform Code of Military Justice, are NEVER conducted by Service Members of the same Unit Service Members being investigated. If a member of the same Unit is involved after an Investigating Officer (NOT an NCO) is appointed on Orders usually chosen by a General Officer or Admiral (U.S. Navy or U.S.M.C.), the Investigator is replaced by another Officer not of that Unit. The U.S. Military Officer chosen is usually of the Rank or Grade of higher than the Dollar Value that Rank or Grade is normally Responsible or Accountable for.

example, When I was only an O-1 during 1980s, On Orders as appointed by the General Officer at the Federal Republic of West Germany to Conduct an Article 32 Investigation of a Fire at an On Base Housing Apartment. Later on as an O-4 I was appointed on Orders to Investigate the Deaths of Service Members and the destruction of an Intermediate Range Ballistic Missile. So nope "Sensitive Materials" are NEVER Investigated by an Non Commissioned Officer, N.C.O., especially Weapons, Night Vision Devices, Secure Communications equipment and Crypto, etc., minimum would be an O-4 Officer that if fails would get a General Officer of Reprimand permanently ending U.S. Military Career.

21st Technology means that every USD to be destroyed had the serial numbers scanned and entered into Database, if any show up that were supposedly destroyed...Lots of Investigations start, starting with where the destroyed USDs appeared at, traced back to who had access.
