Without giving away as a spoiler, The Springfield Three is a taut, dramatic thriller that left me wondering what happened on that fateful night back in 1992 which is the year this film took place. I thought the film was going one way and then it turned 180 degrees and really led me into a suspenseful talespin with a great payoff at the end. Technically, it was well shot and well thought out. I really liked the score and soundtrack - in particular Dramarama and Husker Du which are two of my favorite bands. Creative visual effects and some unusual caamera angles really gave this some depth and helped enhance the story. The actors also did a great job! Ashlynne Yennie's sardonic and morose Suzanne was a nice contradiction to Gigi Gustin's colorful ingenue-like portrayal of Stacy. Rounding out the trio is Natalija Nogulich who plays the enigmatic Sherill who was likeable, yet you really didn't know what she was going to do. A suspenseful and a fun watch!
