The wives!

It was just a moment, we as a collective realize that the Jo Bro's are married to three bad ass ladies, and they capitalize on it... they also release some bangers.

They're back!

The scenery was very fitting for the feel of the music. The overall feel of the video is indicative of the new chapter of the band's lives.

I do believe this sucked for the most part Warning: Spoilers
This is "Sucker", the 3-minute music video for the song of the same name by the Jonas Brothers. Director is the very prolific Anthony Mandler, who has really worked with so many big names in terms of directing their music video in the last years/decades and looking at how much of a hit this turned out, it is probably one of his most talked about achievements, especially these days. The reason is that enough people bought this one to get to number one in the United States, a huge success for the Jonas Brothers. And it was very successful in many other countries too. However, this does not mean it was a quality watch or song. It is not bad from any perspective, catchy enough melody and the visual side is not too bad. It reminded me a bit of what a forgettable music video version of "The Favorite" would look like. The Jonas Brothers are currently facing the difficult challenge to make it from teen idols to respected singers and keep their career going. Even if I don't think this was a quality watch, I suppose their success will help them with this challenge. One of the brothers is a Golden Globe nominee and he is also the one married to Priyanka Chopra 10 years her senior, which is probably the only reason Chopra is in here. They all got their girlfriends on board here, which is also why you will see Game of Thrones' Sophie Turner as well as Danielle Jonas, probably the least known from the significant other trio. Kinda fitting because this is a love song, not a ballad, but a faster one in which the trio tells their loves (and their fans maybe too) that they are a sucker for them and crazy for them. For me, this film was a prime example of how style over substance and pointless pop music can still make it big in 2019. Actually could for a long time. Quite a pity. I give it a thumbs-down, even if it is not a failure and probably also better to watch this music video than only listen to the song on a record.
