Wow!!!
31 August 2002
This movie was fantastic and boy was it a powerful look at Dahmer. I liked it much better then the newer movie that came out this year. What ever happened to Carl Crew who plays Dahmer in this film? Not only is he damn good looking but he was a great actor. It's sad he did not have a longer and more exciting career in the business, especially when you consider the many undeserving talentless actors out there going strong. Anyway, the film is very entertaining,Carl Crew is a breath of fresh air to watch and the plot moves along great. See the movie. I only wish the DVD was better quality, but it's better then nothing.

Johns (1996)
Very good movie:
1 January 1999
A sweet and realistic picture with a very sad and tragic ending. I have always liked David Arquette and I think he's a very good actor but he does make a lot of mistakes in choosing some very bad roles in awful films (he deserves better then the kind of work he's been getting offered) but in the case of this movie,he made a very good decision and proved to me that he is the best actor of the Arquette family. The man has talent.

Highlander (1992–1998)
My favorite Highlander episode:
1 January 1999
was Freefall. I think this episode was great. I think I loved it so much because Joan Jett was the guest star but I think she was great and her best acting ever can be found on this episode of Highlander:The series.

Child's Play (1988)
Chucky is sooo funny:
1 January 1999
I love this doll and I love every Chucky movie ever made. I think I love the Child's play films more for humor then anything else. Whenever I hear Chucky swear or see him flip the bird,it just cracks me up. I think the best of all the Child's play movies was Child's play 2 but like I said,I enjoyed them all.

The best comedy I've ever seen:
1 January 1999
I loved this movie. Bette Midler and Shelly Long were the best female team-up's since Laverne & Shirley. I have seen this movie over and over again and I laugh like a fool every single time.

This movie is too cool:
1 January 1999
O.k.,I admit it, besides Leatherface, Freddy is my least favorite horror movie maniac but this movie (the original) was very very good and scary. I also think A Nightmare on Elmstreet 3:Dream Warriors was the ONLY sequel that was anywhere close to being as enjoyable. So,yeah, pretty much I think Freddy is weak but this film is not.

Jason kicks butt:
1 January 1999
I LOVE Jason. Out of all the movie maniacs out there,Jason is the deadliest. You just can't escape him, he runs so fast. His murders are some of the most original out there. I loved all the early sequels from parts 2-5 but I think this one (The final chapter...NOT,part 4) was my favorite. I never get tired of watching this one.

Halloween II (1981)
Sorry,but I LOVED this movie:
1 January 1999
as much as I LOVED the original. Though I did think the original was more scary, this GREAT sequel was more exciting and more bloody. This is by far the best of the Halloween sequels, the others all sucked (except Halloween4:The return of Michael Myers, that film was pretty good and Halloween III:Season of the witch and H20 were simply the worst)IMHO

I don't care what anyone says:
1 January 1999
Friday the 13th is a classic horror film. I love this movie as much as I loved Halloween and more then I loved The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. I think it was very original and not overly predictable either. This one is a must see.

Nine to Five (1980)
Funny,funny,funny:
1 January 1999
9to5 is a very funny film. Lily,Jane and Dolly are just fantastic together. God,they really all three need to get together again on a different comedy. Very enjoyable.

Knots Landing (1979–1993)
Loved it,loved it,loved it:
1 January 1999
Knots Landing was simply the best prime-time soap ever made. Great characters like Karen,Val,Mack,Gary,Richard,Abby,Sumner etc. etc. and outstanding stories. Two big mistakes were killing off the characters of Sid and Laura though (I loved Laura Avery Sumner)

Halloween (1978)
One of the best horror films ever made:
1 January 1999
Halloween rules. Michael Myers may not be as fast or original in his killings as Jason but he is more scary. This film is a great classic.

Prisoner (1979–1986)
I was very young:
1 January 1999
when I first saw this series back in 1980 or so but I instantly loved it. It was so exciting and fast paced (something American soaps are not known for) I really did not get to see all the episodes (maybe only the first 240 episodes or so) but I wish they would re-run the show again. Some of the characters that really stand out in my memory were Doreen,Bea,Lizzie,Judy and Vera but I think the best character ever was that of Franky Doyle. The shows biggest mistake was killing off this character. It was never the same afterwards and the other tough cons that followed Franky like Monica,Noeline,Martha,Chrissy, Margo,Judy ect. were weak. Franky ruled.

The best adult film ever made:
1 January 1999
I'm not much for porno films,to me,if you've seen one then you've seen them all but Alice in Wonderland is a cut above the rest. I remember seeing Kristine Debell on a daytime soap opera (The Young and the restless) back in 1982 and I instantly thought she was something special so I looked into her career and of corse found out about Alice in Wonderland. Anyway,I have seen both soft core and hard core versions of this film and I have to say,I think the best thing would have been if the hard core version was NEVER released. I think it totally ruins the movie for what it was and turned it from a masterpiece into just another XXX movie not to mention that I think it ruined Kristine's career (who I thought was not only beautiful but very talented as an actress) I miss her.

Leatherface just doesn't do it for me:
1 January 1999
I love Michael,Jason,Chucky and can deal with Freddy BUT I never liked Leatherface too much. I don't find him to be scary at all, just ugly and disgusting. I do admit though, the first and original Texas Chainsaw Massacre was a scary film and I like it BUT I don't love it. I think it really deliver's fear and goosebumps and is thrilling but that is more because of how realistic it could be,I mean I just imagine myself going into a farmhouse for help or to use a phone because my car broke down or whatever and see human bones etc. It gives me chills but the character of Leatherface himself is not scary to me. Also,ALL the sequels sucked. Some of the worst pictures ever made.

The Exorcist (1973)
A scary classic:
1 January 1999
Out of all the demon related movie's out there,The Exorcist is the best,in fact the other's all sucked (except the original The Omen and Carrie movies)anyway, this one really delivers the scares and chills and is great for watching on a dark Halloween night.

Guiding Light (1952–2009)
A great soap:
1 January 1999
I admit,I do not care for the way Paul Rauch runs this show nowadays but through-out the 80's and well into the 90's,Guiding Light was the best daytime drama out there. The 4 musketeers (Mindy,Rick,Phillip and Beth) were by far some of the best characters ever. I miss the character of Mindy Lewis played by either Krista Tesreau or Kimberley Simms and GREAT actors like Beverley McKinsey (Alex) and Michael Zaslow (Roger) and soon the very talented Wendy Monez (Dinah) will be leaving,so sad. However many great actors still remain with the show like Michael O'Leary (Rick),Grant Aleksander (Phillip),Maeve Kinkead (Vanessa) and Mary Kay Adams (India) so for the the enjoyment of watching these great actors and a few others,Guiding Light still shines (only not as bright)

Boogie Boy (1998)
A cool film:
31 December 1998
I liked Boogie boy a lot. I think it was a good film. It did have a plot. It was about friendship and loyalty as well as drugs. Mark Dacascos was pretty good but I think Jaimz Woolvett was even better, but Joan Jett was by far the one who was really doing the best acting. She was very good with her small little part and I think many who see this film will remember her more then they will remember the two leads. I also really enjoyed the movie's soundtrack.

A bad film with only one highlight:
31 December 1998
And that highlight was Cyndi Lauper. She had only a small role but she was the only one in the film who was funny (well,Nathan Lane had some funny lines too) but Michael J. Fox was very dull and not his usually funny self and the little girl in the film (Christine Vidal) was sooo annoying ( a good little actress but annoying) the film is just boring.

Cyndi was very good:
31 December 1998
Cyndi was very good in this film. Her acting has come a long way from her performance in Vibes. This film was Cyndi's first dramatic role (well the film has some funny moments) but more so is a thriller then a comedy. The plot is not that good (like Vibes) but for some reason,I like this movie better then Cyndi's debut film. With each project I see her in,she is only getting better.

Vibes (1988)
A very underrated film:
31 December 1998
I think Vibes was a very funny film. Jeff Goldblum and Cyndi Lauper were very cute together and Peter Falk was very delightful to watch. The plot was crazy but I think it was supposed to be. The special effects were very good and you couldn't help but like the characters (mostly Cyndi Lauper)

Light of Day (1987)
Joan Jett rocked:
31 December 1998
Light of Day was a pretty good film. I liked Michael J. Fox in this movie even though I'm more used to him in a comedy role but the REAL STAR of this film was Joan Jett. This woman can act (unlike Madonna) while she was on screen,no one else mattered. Another plus was the great Gena Rowlands who shined just like she did in the movie Gloria.

Du-beat-e-o (1984)
An awful film:
31 December 1998
The worst piece of crap I've ever seen. The ONLY plus was seeing all that old footage of Joan Jett spliced into the movie but all in all,I have never seen anything as bad.
