A LENI RIEFENSTAHL movie...MIDNIGHT EXPRESS!
27 August 1999
This movie was forbidden here to be shown on TV, and it still is, I think. A friend of mine bought it in UK, and we watched it together. And in the end, we were like, i'm going vomiting. So that's a real Leni Riefenstahl movie. Do you know her? Well, she directed the most influencing&greatest movies...for HITLER, for NAZISM. And this movie is that:A well-directed, good-played movie, but what it gives is, um, MEAN&CRUEL&WRONG ideas about us, the Turkish People. Like all of us are sadistic or something... Plus, before that movie, I had watched the incredibly great 'SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION', and didn't get any racist ideas about Americans at all. So, if you wanna see a real movie, with real things&a real story, then go and rent SHAWSHANK REDEMPTION immediately, and forget about the movie which is our case here. But if you already know some of us(TURKS), and have the RIGHT opinions, then see Midnight Express, and don't get influenced at all.

Little&Beautiful
9 August 1999
No, no ,no ,no I'm not talking about Natalie Portman, guys! That's just the movie-little&beautiful. You see, I'm just not American, but I think, or actually I feel that this thing shows your little village life pretty well, as well as the problems of those people in the movie, with the great Matt Dillon&Timothy Hutton&Lauren Holly and many other perfect actors. So, I give this movie a 9 out of 10.

The Bandit (1996)
Eskiya was the king out here...
5 August 1999
And, to tell the truth, HE still is. The filmmakers in Turkey are always claiming about reaching the thing, the unbelievable, the extreme thing that this movie made to the people. With no grand advertising, or big budget, that's just a miracle that movie has made. And to a miracle, points or comments do nothing but you wanted and I give:eternity out of 10 and just love, like the movie gives to you.

What can I say about the greatest movie of all times?
30 June 1999
Nothing, really nothing. The movie has it all. But the greatest thing about this movie is I think, the music. Only for the moments when for example Murron gives the flower to the young William, James Horner and the orchestra have to have been on our shoulders and we have to make them a course of triumph. It's as good as this. But the other things, the playings, the directing of Gibson, the background, these are all amazing. Thank you, the people who did this movie.
