The Green Slime... Well, that's wacky enough and it's only the title. This is one bad-mama-jamma of a movie. Okay, for being a good movie this one ranks near Rocky V. But for being an entertaining movie, this one ranks near Rocky III. Eye of the tiger baby, eye of the tiger. Plot elements of this thing: a stupid doctor; animosity between two good character actors (Robert Horton and Richard Jaeckel); a fat administrator who can't stop saying hell and damn; funny special effects; funny dialogue; explosions; green creatures spawned from slimy cells that have one giant red eye and tentacles that electrocute and they totally run amok; and finally the most unreal movie theme song in the history of time! What does all this make? No, not bread pudding, it instead makes a very watchable entertaining movie. Track this beauty down and slide it into your VCR and then let the slime command your mind. Eye of the tiger er slime.

This is it folks. The Three Stooges episode that inspired the hit T.V. series, The X-Files. Well actually, I'm not sure. But don't take Chris Carter's word that it didn't, you can't trust that guy. It's all conspiracies, all lies! Anyways, this before-its-time episode features the boys trying to get a picture of a flying saucer so they can sell it and become rich. This episode has everything The X-Files episodes have: mistaken identities, cover-ups, backstabs, government agents, it has it all. So is there a connection between this episode and Chris Carter's brain child? Don't trust anyone. The truth is out there...

"Professor I can't stand it any longer! Who threw that pie?!" You'll be asking yourself this same question while watching this great slice of comic mayhem. The Stooges are key figures in the breaking up of the Great Spy Ring in this short. But they are not spies. They are just simple salesmen who wander into horror, hell, and very funny situations. After assigned as bodyguards to a professor's house the boys meet up with skeletons, mummies, strange sounds, U.F.P's (unidentified flying pies) and the Devil?! Great piece of mystery/silliness that has it all. Look closely for Charles Middleton (Emperor Ming of the 1930's Flash Gordon serials.

Stooges at their spookiest. Funny short has the boys trying to rescue a girl from the evil clutches of Dr. Jekyll. "Dr. Jekyll. We must hide." Says Shemp in a funny line. This episode has all the elements of a stooge classic. It has absolutely everything. Their is an ape. A pie fight between an ape. A mad doctor. A spooky location. Witty writing. 3-D action, pitchforks and fingers fly right towards your eyes. And a bat that does an impression of Curly.

This episode has to be seen to be believed. A Stooge gem that has always been overlooked. Catch this one if you can, or I'll gouge your eyes out! Whoo whooh whooh whooh whooh whooh!
